A limerick-composing old man
Devised a most devious plan.
Rejecting convention,
I fear I must mention,
He fried all his verse in a pan.
A man named Fred lived on Poopy Lane
Dogs took dumps on his lawn time and again
So he devised a plan
Set up a big fan
Blew away the odor especially when it rained
A man named Fred lived on Poopy Lane
Dogs took dumps on his lawn time and again
So he devised a plan
Set up a big fan
Blew away the odour especially when it rained
After, they asked if I knew the truth about her
From said head, I plucked out mine own eyes
the pulling strain from your tether
which devised
a glimpse of the nether:
everyone wore leather.
There once was a lady who loved ice cream,
see, she had no teeth so it was her dream;
so silky and smooth- lick, lick,
it was cold and creamy thick;
a delicious devised diet regime !
A man named Fred lived on Poopy Lane
Dogs took dumps on his lawn time and again
So he devised a plan
Set up a big fan
Blew away the odour especially when it rained

Sinuous arms reach West and East
And curved with a gentle bend
Told me the nearness of a dear
eternal friend,
More strand sprouters
came to join
Whatever fun could be devised by merging
thoughts.
How slight
The petal of
A poppy,flowering-
So much like us,beautiful,yet
Fragile

Beauty
free from above
embedded in our heart-
His loving-kindness ..ready to
impart

There once was a small young man from Flagstaff
Whose girl said he was too short by one half.
He devised plan giving others great laugh
For with big grin
His stilts did win
The hand of this beautiful blond distaff
Till now,
You didn't answer
My many letters sent.
No reply to my hearts' longing.
Elegant words devised for response failed.
Now, who is knocking on my door?
You, grinning sheepishly.
Gone, my gloom, then
Till now.
Desire
welled within-
words became a promise
so sublime,to love now and for
all time.

Jephthah the judge, from Gilead he came,
With this difficult word found long-lasting fame-
For those upon the losing side
He devised a cunning plan,
Asking of his enemy,to pronounce it if they can

my heart now missing
a souvenir that you took
displayed on your shelf
quickly forgotten
hidden behind the others
you, the knave of hearts
a true master of the game
no deviations
from the plan devised
me, blindsided by moonlight
Hurry
Takes its toll as
In our daily stroll,we
From deepest ruts of blind alleys
Quicken.

We had
met and conversed,
a rapport on first sight-
a chance meeting to a life's time
delight

The warmth
Of love's invite
Encompassed my desire,
In two soft whispered words of love,
Be mine !

Long days
Of August sun
Where nature blinks and shrinks
The dying grass,yellowed in sleep-
Held fast

Eyes closed
As lips caressed,
Mouths joined,impassioned
Tongues explore,in our love's embrace,
Time-framed

LIMERICKS
Lear we are told devised
Limericks long ago
Little rhymes of five lines
Letting laughter lines flow
Lusciously lewd ones
Less crude but demur ones
Leaving a happy glow

MY FONDEST MEMORY
My love
Beguiled me,with
Soft sensuous lips,sleek
Long thighs with rounded hips, twinned heart's
Enlaced

Leonard Bailey’s tombstone was cryptic
“one gathered in unison of solitude”
some thought they had solved the riddle
was it devised by Leonard himself or his wife?
It was inscrutable to most.
Very few thought they understood it.
No one agreed.
Best tombstone in the cemetery.
And the most visited.
Insubstantial insanity
Instantaneously realized
Absurd fantasies I’ve devised.
All deeds i do, all words I say
Gods of iron, feet of clay
All, in time, will fade away
Leaving not even an "Ozymandias" trace
To signify ever I was in this place
Every remnant time will erase;
Both of my pride and my disgrace.
Know this worlds future is guarded well
cloaked in beliefs, not someones spell
learnig may allow some to understand
what awaits those in the promised land
seeking knowledge of a future yet devised
Won't our childrens visions to be chastised
Instead of devising a plan for what's ahead
allow children to dream in a protected bed
