Never Do Today What You Can Put Off Until Tomorrow
I purchased a brand new desktop
Quite sure I will use it alot
Still sits in the corner
Like Little Jack Horner
Procrastinate? Certainly not!...

The Home Office
When do we knock off?
Home offices, not for toffs,
I stagger to the desktop,
Yikes, another job!
Guess it won't take me long,
Piss off my phone, should be my song,
We can afford gas for cars vehicular,
But not allowed anywhere particular,
So, we work in the home office,
Jobs designed for masochists!...

Ferry Poem
I'm writing this poem on the ferry.
How much do I like this? Well, very!
The water, when smooth,
Does nothing but soothe
And my stress I am able to bury.

Though sometimes the river is choppy;
My handwritten words come out sloppy.
But still, I can write;
On my desktop, tonight,
I will print out a neatened-up copy....

Premium Member Just Like An Old Friend
The good old computer
We always come back to it
No matter whatever devices we use
We always come back to the good old desktop
That is what it is to a good friend, Jesus
Not matter how far we stray
We always come back to Him
That is what we know
That is who we are comfortable with
That is where we can rely on
He is calling
He is beckoning
Come back to Him
All ye wayward children
He will receive ya
Come...

Premium Member Violet Fragrance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I capture colorful moments in network of lyrical poems, words dance like butterflies on desktop. Spring feelings are the most beautiful with violet fragrance written on moss verses. A bunch of colors ink sprinkles, warm breath of the wind hangs up dreams, paints pictures with paint-touched heart and cold memories turned into blooming buds of violets flowers…
Premium Member Starry Night
As I sit just looking at the moon.
And I wonder are there others
like me way up there.
I admire the sparkling stars.
That gives light to the night.
Sometimes I think I could
reach up and grab one.
Though I know not possible.
So here I sit and admire
this very pretty starry night.
After all, I'm just a cat.
Postal Love
Do not treat my love like a slender stamp
Left dormant day by day upon the desktop
Quiescent, quiet, I quarrel with my integrity
For I want more than ice-cream and lolly-pop licks
For I have shown responsibility and trust
For I too inquire to be desired
Teasing me with your tongue while tampering with love written memoirs  to
someone else
You send me away
But one day I'll come back to you when you forget
his address...
A Letter On the Desktop
Folded neat a letter sleeps, Paper has leant ear to pen, Whispered ink slowly seeps, Blood red blue in steady hand, Those stabbing words so neatly planned, Promise not if, but when. Now the burning eye sweeps, Through a letter on the desktop again, While the heart behind blindly weeps. Another hourglass losing sand, Love choked by the wedding band, This is now, that was then. 5/7/2018 ABACCB - "Rhyme Time 3 Contest" Sponsor: Laura Loo
No Pain,No Poetry
From the desktop of my life , I deleted Pain, so that nobody could restore it again. From the canvas of my life, I wiped away Sorrow, so that I could get a joyful tomorrow. From the diary of my life, I erased all my Grief and sent them on a long leave. Seeing this,Poetry asked, "Why should I stay with you then?" So I restored Pain,painted Sorrow and scribbled Grief in my life again. ========================
A Girl's Fantasies
Set neatly on her dressing table
Are make-ups and lip sticks.
All sorts of nail polish,
And glittering jewelry
Now lie upon
Her once untidy desktop.
No more Dolls and Tea sets,
And no more "wearing Mommy's clothes".
No more tea parties and Barbie houses
That used to emphasize her childish games.
Thus i find her room
Filled with posters of pop stars and boys,
with various magazines and books,
Cosmetics and perfumes.
She is not the little girl she once was,
For now she has grown....
