Set To Derail
Grumpy all the while

housing all the bile

building on hate pile

calling all vile

distanced by a mile

missing all the smile

hemmed in an isle

All set to derail....

Independence Brawl
Abandon your party
stand up for what’s right
The partisan madness
a liar’s delight

Honor the founders
revolt and derail
The graft and corruption
— both factions entail

The Me Too Choo Choo
Hopping on the me too choo choo
Generated a lot of power
By many who were wronged it's true
But could that mighty power sour?

Some might join for easy money
A case or two already haunt
The me too choo choo could derail
And nobody gets what they want!...

Squealing Brakes
Silent empty train,
Lush warm body presses mine
Slow down or derail

Eyelashes flutter
Blue eyes flash intense passion
Too late now, no brakes

High Tail Mail
Like a post card of silent reticence
screaming "I wish you were here!"
my words choke and sputter to babble accost
as soon as I find myself near
Your valor and dignity held to admire
Your voice is my muse and delight
Just stamp me, and mail me, in time to derail me,
in time to repudiate flight....

Cigarettes
Lethal poison fills my lungs
Then blows a gentle farewell
You need not load your gun
My own life, I will derail

My index and middle feel bare
When the tiny ember stick
Darts throughout the air
Following a dreaded flick

Once the light is gone
I sit for a moment and rest
A dangerous state of calm
Irony at its best...

Drake's Island
Distant dreams do dare to derail my train of doubts,
Eyes gobbling the cobbled stone streets seen,
Leading to a shop filled of things tagged with alloted time
But the tickle of the wind next to sea bound vesels,
and the smell of their work that feeds our souls,
Is what brings a little peace into focus,
When I'm unceasingly searching for my goals....

Stand Firm and Strong
J-ust stand firm and strong,
U-nderneath the sky above;
D-on't let life's test derail
Y-our, faith, hope, and love.

A-llow not your ship to fail;
M-ake your boat keep afloat,
A-s you continue to sail.
R-ise up every time you fall,
I-nstead of going wrong;

Empty Pages
A Stevie Winwood song,
A hit for his band "Traffic"
And it really says so much
For those of us staring at these "empty pages"...
How insightful musical geniuses can be
Yet how often they derail their own lives
With drugs, and other wanton abandonment

I salute Winwood for apparently bucking that trend
I await the day ahead,
Where I find ink,
To fill my pen,
And add substance...
To the empty pages
Of my life....

Premium Member We Quench Our Thirst
We quench our thirst but always fail,
since we’re by fears and desires cursed,
the toxins that bring out our worst,
that doth tranquility derail,
till we drink from the holy grail;
soma nectar in our heart pursed,
we quench our thirst.

Truth of existence, let us nail,
by embracing life unrehearsed,
feeling within bliss bubble burst
and thus living to tell our tale,
we quench our thirst.

Make Me a Way
My way not yours
The path of the just
Re-kindle to rust
Grinded to the dust
With no believing gut

Howbeit to believing
Not to be existing
The future of my reading
In my meditating
At the cross over of a thing

ON the show at the cross
A path in gross
In my tears I burst
To see how he was slain
Agony of disdain

A prize is paid
For me not to be raid
So that I can be grade
Never to derail
The path of raid....

Nothing Is Forever
Nothing is forever,
Life turns ‘round without fail.
There will always be change,
Sometimes it will derail.

Maybe you’ll have to move
Pack up so many clothes
And all the other stuff
Quite a houseful, God knows!

We tend to own so much
And think “we need it NOW”
But then we need to purge
And trim it down somehow.

With old age comes wisdom,
We know our basic needs…
Money, clothes and shelter,
And hopefully good knees!...

A Wrong Picture of Failure
To fail is to hit the bottom scale,
Demonstrably show you could derail,
To shamelessly lose your trail
And go ahead to simply wail
And at cheating sky rail
Like one refused a bail:
To tears receive, even tears hail,
Keeping a face awfully pale,
No correspondence no mail;
Your image for helpless sale…

For the failed Male, no female
From the female bared a male…
For one’s crucifixion, concrete nail,
The wind to blow one off, A Gale!...

The Pure Blue Veil
As you purify with blue veil
My soul of weakness, to inhale
Your pure scent of wisdom and grace
I regret to ever disgrace
And for every aim to derail.
For you my Angel I do hail
With a withering heart so ail
I beseech your pardon, a place
To live in peace.
I’ve gone far and evil did trail
My being within its dark dale
But giving me your pure embrace
You touched my steps and left a trace
Giving back life to soul so stale
Living in peace....

This Is What I Understand
Some people laugh.
Some people blame.
There are only few who understand.

Upon failure if we feel ashamed,
And just hide behind a curtain.

That's when we lose the battle and we derail.

Those who don't follow the trend,
Choose to be laughed at and fight back again.
They are seen crawling alone and yelling in pain.
Probably, they are the one's who create fame!

I choose to take the blame.
Coz it's a reminding flame.
I don't have to loose, I have to win the game....
