Slippery Slopes

Shamed me down away The losses higher than imagined Briefly here we stay The lessons hard to learn ingrained Slippery slopes of peril Hopes to derail Progress slower than a snail No pace to shout about Still within us all The seasons passing Greatness superseding madness Colloquial of passions sadness
