As the world around us seems falling apart,
we search within ourselves for the will to cope.
Words spent on others have become mostly tart,
we feel we exist on that slippery slope.
We're beat down each morning with negative news,
our prayer chain now, is extended each day.
The problems we face, only God can defuse,
and that won’t happen unless / until we pray.
