Celestial War

unexploded shell
   soldiers trying to defuse
   silence now departs
leaving them no time to lose
   heaven fights again with hell

Tapers

It went through me
the hot day;
vaulting back.
at night.
To hustle the poetry things.

Weary of the luminous
dials. I want to
think in dark.

*

The bookcase was empty.
Croaking words
had departed for
greener pastures.

Hold on.
I am coming to
defuse the grenades.

Life and Writing

Writing the worse wired words
That comes in thou commonly sounds in though
In its common gives sense and assured sensibility
I love the living words in the world
Dependent not defuse the dormant
This is the sound of songs and the poem of poets
Bursting but brushing the bought borrowed bonus of living.

Best Wishes

A necklace of flowers
      to soften sadness
      that torments you ...
      A bouquet of silences
      to defuse tears
      that assaults you ...
      An outburst of joy
      to evict yours
      bitterness ....
      A fresh love for
      shut everyone up
the traces of cold memories ...!

Out of darkness comes light

When I am down and out
Feeling so far from good
And life I find in doubt
That's when my writing would
My deep, dark worries rout
A softer voice,not crude
Eases me from that bout
To better that dark mood.

And when that fog has risen
How sweet then is my muse
To swell my hopes of heaven
Hope springs quickly to infuse
Serenity of vision
Gloom and darkness to defuse

Emotions Into Ashes

I kissed the darkness a farewell in spite
Was always there when I bed goodnight
Comfort of warmth, now tenderly out of sight
My sorrows shredded before dawn’s light.

To lose the weight of harboring fears that barricade
It’s time now to defuse and quell that fiery brigade
allowing my tears to flow like a cascade
dousing the emotional fire into embers till they fade

Writers Block

writers block

have writer’s block
words can’t find
now in shock
lost my mind
to unlock
have assigned
a coldcock
electroshock.

Now who do I hear calling me
my trusted friend my muse
your mind is clear and free
you have no time to lose
take up your pen says she
we have a theme to choose
a poem now will be
your writer’s block you will defuse.

Today's News

Today's news felt as if I drank a bottle of toxic booze
Everything I read about made me sad and confused
World leaders making excuse and no one is trying to defuse
This news is like receiving the blues
Why are these leaders so damn misleading
Mischief and strife is all they bring in our life
For once I would like to read about world peace and no more suffering
All this bad news only have a man wondering.

A World In Decay

A World In Decay Written: by Miracle Man 1/24/2021 As the world around us seems falling apart, we search within ourselves for the will to cope. Words spent on others have become mostly tart, we feel we exist on that slippery slope. We're beat down each morning with negative news, our prayer chain now, is extended each day. The problems we face, only God can defuse, and that won’t happen unless / until we pray.

Wait

Oh, my dear muse, why must you
bruise,
my heart like bad art while we’re on
a cruise.
We fuss and fight, get out of my sight;
you lose.
You’re wrong, you wore a thong, it’s
big news!
It’s a shame, you are so lame, I got
the blues.
Oh, wait! Let's make a clean slate, but
you must choose.
Don’t you care? Live on a dare, notice
the clues.
If you must; don’t wear rust, it will
confuse.
Wear a hot pink thong; sing a song;
it’ll defuse.

We Should Fly Away

Together, we should fly away –
                    leave behind our average day

Let’s break from mundane routine –
                    inhale exciting to exhale serene

Our daily sameness lacks changes ~
                    let’s peak inside spontaneous exchanges

Imagine waking to momentaneous outcomes ~
                    shaking time’s ill-dosed humdrums

Not knowing life’s daily sum would defuse our everyday numb!
