Facing hard truths
about my failed beginnings
dead-end relationships
deep thoughts
so dark that
I wish they would stay buried

Favorite Poetry Pieces

When my personal muse is shortly missing
And there are no deep thoughts of my own
I translate favorite poetry pieces
From Russian for the world to bestow.

Out of GIFs! Oh now I've got to talk,
no pictures I may start to squawk;
Deep thoughts flabbergasted,
blank conversation thread;
Kids got further with sidewalk chalk.

Deep Thoughts

My thoughts fly out like ashes from a fire....
The smoke is my dreams when cold and tired...
The heat is my breath to blow out this scene....
So now the ashes flicker to where I've been....

Life - the Course

A baby is born
Two dates separated by hyphen
Hyphen or dash: that's life

II
We fall in love -
One day one, or both, will die

III
We are born -
We learn; even think deep thoughts -
And die.

Sitting Alone

Sitting alone
And pondering deep thoughts
Blatantly staring at the wall
She feels so lost
She put her trust in you
But, there was no love in your heart
Nothing but pain and abuse
Right from the very start

Premium Member In a Sunday State of Mind

Counting syllables
Deep thoughts dancing in my head
In a Sunday state of mind

          Noon woolgathering
           Debilitating silence
Broken by some kids at play

Silence

Somehow, silence speaks more than words.
Sometimes it's peaceful, sometimes it's not.
Sometimes, it's the calm before the storm.
And sometimes, it is the answer to the war.
But silence- it speaks the heaviest words of them all.

Enjoying the Peace of Late Hours

Sky as infinite as deep thoughts,
foaming sea emitting sparkles,
glances brightened by romance,
a sweet urge to dance...
enjoying the peace of late hours.

Deep Thought

In
Deep thought
Man may lost
His own light sight
Some of his deep thoughts
Very dark day and night
So furious sad thinking
Yet in there are dark and light gems
Like green emerald and black agate
Pure diamonds red ruby tiger eyes

My Soul

For years i dreamed
i dreamed of many things
i never got daylight
my heart got me here

I heard momma voice
i gave all i could
life is full of wrong
deep thoughts of hell

My soul cry's itself to sleep
promises are so old to me
25 reasons why i live
dont forget me when ur gone

Premium Member Thinking Of You

Thinking of you in everything I do; gratefully, deep thoughts of you live on. You are so missed- yet, promise it is true- until my days expire and I am gone, live memories remain while I pursue exclaiming, “Mom, I love you still,” each dawn.

Bright

When love is the brightest lantern,
and joy becomes its' shadow,
then we dwell in the crux of this
unerring duo,
cradled in a blossoming hearth,
dismissing the fading restless heat of fear,
transforming ancient deep thoughts to a
steady stream of the
open winged flight
of freedom.

Watching Me Empty

Something wasn't right, So i left my chest.
Instead of following my head was nobody
I see a lot of night and day
lack of dreams but a better tomorrow
is what it seems.
Deep thoughts and good bad choices.
positive vibes will heat boil poison.
Tell me a lie but i will always know
put me aside but i will never go.

Roots

Just like veins ;they sprout out from soil ,
Facial resemblance and deeds of my grand father ,
Tentacles spread like thick clouds in the sky ,
Deep thoughts and emotion that cannot be hidden ,
Traits passed on through the blood from root .

Notebook full of dreams,

deep thoughts imprint a blank page.

Intent and consumed,

from his sweet innocent mind,

he creates his masterpiece.

Inspired Mind

The macrocosm of
the unquiet mind
Shines brightly in
poetically timed lines
Deep thoughts go
swirling
spinning into rhymes
Intelligence is found
writing with chimes
Inspiration is
sought in
dreamy bedtimes
Sleeping apon ways
painted
canvases primed
Vividly wonderous
masterpieces
That last
until
we end our time

Seasons

Seasons come and go
Should I close my eyes so you can dwell on my eyeshadow
Should I close my eyes and look down
So you can see my pain
So you can see my deep thoughts

Seasons come and go
We are all on the go
High seasons of excitement!
Low seasons of boredom

Enjoy your season
Whether low or high
In glow and awe.

Think First Miracle Man 1/16/2024 Occasionally deep thoughts I’ve chosen to say, and later these thoughts have brought me dread. Previously hidden things, they usually betray, and thoughtlessly spoken words can’t be unsaid. “Mouth’s are a lot like gates, usually open when they should be closed” Tom
