Death comes to all
Like a dying rose.
It is beautiful
But full of sorrow.
Life is beautiful
But death
Death is gorgeous.
Love is sleeping next to death
Quietly and peacefully
Title: Love Is Sleeping Next to Death
Date Created: 5th March 2017
side by side
on the dusty bookshelf
twin jars of formaldehyde
slowly drying
in poison preserve
my heart always
to guard yours
Anything beyond heaven is nothing
We may harm anything
Life is mainfestly insane
The love seems personal elsewhere
as I crossed fire
Once one foot into the grave
No more the chance a heart to save
But if a ghost you're not to be
One chance to set a spirit free
fragile skin stretches
across the cheeks of death's dawn
beauty-marked weeping
I see only the groom now
peach sweet the memories rise
in your absence we wilt
like desert flowers
in hollow canyons
blown by the wind to tilt
and scatter our essence
amongst unholy sands
Form:
Dear Death, to your irresistible greet I submit my breath and beat.

Emily Dickinson was her name
To her – poetry wasn’t a game
She lived & loved through verse & rhyme
Her words will flow through all of time.
your hands clasped in mine
as you whisper me goodbye
teardrops I hold fast
as you slowly become breath
of a moribund ember

It seems like love just wants to kill you,
but don't ever let it still you.
Can you endure it any longer?
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
As her hand slipped into his for the last time
his tears began to flow…
for he knew
after a lifetime of holding her hands in his
it was time to let her go.
Mothering Sunday
old men weeping, daffodils
at the graveyard gate
sons and daughters, motherless
everyone somebody's child

He smiled through his tears as he felt her heart beat a little stronger
knowing his prayer
today
had been answered
and heaven
would wait a little longer.
Three white gardenias
Clear, small vase filled with water
Liquid now dried up
Cry an overflowing stream
Fill the vase to no avail
They promised to love each other forever
They vowed their life would be one long honeymoon…
And it was…only they never could have anticipated
forever would come so soon.
a red rose
lying on a grave --
love is forever
8/5/13
below the moonlight
ripples gently radiate
two in love now share
captured by the lunar beam
enrichment to future bliss

No, my darling,
Death unable will be us to separate
For
Our souls have been interwoven by
the hands of fate!

I think my situation is finally sinking in.
I wish I wasn't stuck inside of this pathetic skin.
To dream, to die
Is it all the same?
A limbo where I
only whisper your name...

The Gods ,Whom mortal beauty chase,
Pale, Dimly, at the sight of her face.
A Beauty so rare, of elegance and grace,
Loving eyes that adorn an Angels face.
Clement Hardy
I've heard roots digging underground for me'
they need my concentrated pain to blossom
in whispered scent of angels bringing Spring
and pure white Hope of finding ageless Love
In this field a man gave his life,
Not for glory nor country,
but for the safe of his wife.
Now flowers grow where his head lay last,
Doomed to then die when this season has past.
Darling, my love for you will never die--
Just then, two shots rang out
She heard him cry
O! she groaned. Please don't go yet
He smiled, then went ~ but won the bet
