Silence

My
Love
For
You

Is
Pure
And
True

When
I
Am
Dead

Nought
Said

Unrequited, lost and lorn. A silent love is never born. It only lived within your heart. You'll take it with you when you part. You stretched the parameters of this style David. Love it. Peace. :) And Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Hello David, This is the first time I've seen a sonnet like this, but it makes entire sense being "monosyllabic." Your message is simple and quite clear. Well-Done!! Merry Christmas, Gary

Hello David, as one of the wonderful nice persons to greet me here, I miss your poetry, you are way too silent. I hope to see you around more, and more importantly I hope you are doing well in all things! Lovely poem!

a very interesting one. I saw those tiny lines and thought: Sonnet? But it's a new kind of sonnet and a GREAT thought!
