Sunrise
Morning dawning
Early sunbeams warming
Another glorious day breaks
Daylight
23/2/20
The scarlet cord spurs
daylight,
stealing through the blue-
black sky.
Moonlight fades away in
shades
of yellow aura.
this rain like nineteen sixties static screen —
snow on black or bugs on white.
daylight would lift onslaught.

clouds clap coastline cups
spring sings through flute flowers
drums of daylight dance
March 30th 2022
families frolic
verdant landscapes sandy beach
daylight lingering
crickets chirping cheerfully
summer’s harbinger of change
a glossary
of memory
measured
yet unsung
plural,personal
delicate:
a consecutive
parade
from twilight
to daylight
WINTER SUNRISE
the gray ache lingers
daylight vanishes quickly
brilliance appears!
rainbows
harken farewell
daylight summons closure
stillness echoes final triumph's
magic!
No why would I want
To be mis-behaving when
Light should be saving.
Along with more time
to be writing poems with.

this is a must
in the lord we trust
we're browm round
black and white
we came here
for a better daylight
FIGHT FOR THAT RIGHT
Must've been daylight savings time
For a hour ago
You loved me
You liked me
You used me
An hour ago you wasted my time
A tale of a town at night where birds fly,
They die in the daylight,
If they don’t assume a height,
This position is their plight.
Awake before dawn
The night's Boogeymen retreat
Into daytime rest.
Television news
Fearmongers quickly step in
To fill up the void
Sunshine
light of life
renew today
the earth's luster and joy
daylight
**My family is my sunshine and puts the light in my life!!
Forsooth, we are the victims of the daylight and the dark.
Climb and burn or fall and freeze, and leave your fading mark!
12 May 2016
Leaves are red in hue.
The daylight healers scattered,
on the whole body.

Clinging
Wrapping tightly
Sorrow shatters daylight
Pushing darkness ~ beyond sunlight's
Grasping
Swirling, twirling
Crisp and white,
It’s a snowflake
Kind of night…
Crystals shimmer
By moonlight,
Building castles
Till daylight…
Writing into the night,
attempting to fill voids
of an empty life and
plaster over the pain.
Words offer false hope,
daylight, harsh truth.
Daylight savings time was for farmers
But its demise is now on the brink
Whether to keep it or let it go
I wonder what Big Ben workers think?
A lonely moose caught deep in snow
Its gaze searching for daylight aglow.

Band of fire,
Burning low,
Chasing daylight,
Evenings glow,
Always chasing,
Never catching,
Close behind,
Never in front,
Twilight comes.
we might hear seasons
winter gales… spring song…
are we listening…
skylark waking dawn… daylight
nightingales… dusk lullabies
“When a cardinal appears in your yard, it’s a visitor from heaven.”

Daylight begins with a sweet chorus of angels with wings
Truth eludes a man.
Searching eyes.
He finds deceit.
Sunglasses cover.
Rouge camouflages.
Daylight illuminates.
Poison asps.
Drip blood.
