Notes About The Poem

Contest: Life's about choices, sponsored by Suzette Richards.

fall

fall beckons the trees at night
to drop their leaves by daylight
dropping like our summer sins
our secrets sound - darkest plight

I love the picture with the leaves of such beautiful gold upon the ground. Your poem is very creative and expressive. If for a contest, it reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. Sara K

What a great comparison to show leaves dropping as if they were our sins. Once forgiven, they no longer exist as leaves decay and are no more. Very well written, Tania.
