Autobiographer

Writing into the night,
attempting to fill voids
of an empty life and
plaster over the pain.
Words offer false hope,
daylight, harsh truth.

Poignant words. So long as it remains autobiography, there is always time for the story to turn.

This hit me right in the gut, Peter. Speaks to so many years of my life. (Thankfully now, it's not so). You've really captured a 'harsh' truth, methinks. Nicely penned. Cheers, Gershon
