Winter Sunrise

WINTER SUNRISE

the gray ache lingers

        daylight vanishes quickly

                              brilliance appears!

Hi JMGoff, Snow in winter does make the sun shine brilliantly. And it is a nice surprise to see that sun shining. Thank you for your most welcomed recent comments on my “Chicken Blogs”. Smiles, Dane Ann

Great Haiku! It happens fast the changes in the morning but then if one just sits and soaks up each 1/2 second it can linger on be so relaxing. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara

Beautiful haiku, dear James. That gray ache - I still remember it from my childhood winters...now there is no real winter where I live but I do remember it still. All the best, Iolanda
