Snow in the heat
The sun was up, what bright sunny day!
A rabbit with a snowboard on its way.
A daydreamer, lost in a song
singing its tunes, all along.
Till it realized the heat of May.

My Reflection Rondelet
My reflection ,
shining the light they could not dim;
My reflection,
silent words I speak with action;
Daydreamer is my synonym
fueled even more when odds are slim;
My reflection....

A Daydreamer In the Storm
The rain is diluting the seawater
The waves seem higher and rougher
I´m blown by the storm wind
Dancing in the rain in my mind
I’m joyfully leaping like a clown
Among raindrops falling down
I’m nowhere and everywhere
People call me a daydreamer...

If Only I Could Take You On a Tour To Where I Live
If only I could take you on a tour
To the worlds that my brain has built
And show you the lives I live
The colors I paint my walls with
The stories I draft on my brain cells
The places I travel to
And the places that I create inside it
Would you have understood me, maybe....

Captivated
your breezy spring like love blows
the wind mills of my daydreamer soul
just a little something
I thought you should know
like the fact that you make
my heart blaze with a passionate fiery glow
your presence is always
a big production breath stealing beauty show...

Daydreamer
I long for a moment, to wander away
One respite of summer, that has drifted away
I wish I could lie down flat like a child
Watch as the clouds drift over my head
Hide in the grass, and smile in my bed
To remind me what matters, and to dream for awhile…...

Daydreamer
They call her a daydreamer
with eyes that sparkle like stars;
Her wishes, flecks of glitter,
enticing, she'll steal your heart
Light floods, glowing her desire,
Illuminating the path;
A compass points to inspire,
staring back, she's a photograph
They call her a daydreamer
that smile will magnetize;
One glance causes quite a leer
Her ideas hypnotize....

Daydreamer
Enthralled by mystic notions
Lights on, but no one there
Her spirit within the oceans
Challenging reality’s square
Four corners could never keep her
Safe and sound inside
Too much, a daytime dreamer
To stay within the lines
Not a sound was heard by others
Still, she swayed with grace
Her thoughts became her lovers
Adorning an abandoned place...

Id
I have dreamt of change
Of something more
I dabble in activities but all seem a chore
A daydreamer of conveyance
Wistful of the misshapen course of our lives
Persona non grata
Ambivalent to the world, trapped in eternity
Thoughts hammer at my core
Cloudless eyes perfidy my truth
What sound do thoughts make
An onomatopoetic poet clanging and clashing around in his own head....

Frank Hank
There was once a daydreamer called Hank.
It was thought that he was just a crank.
He was labelled a con.
His ideas caught on.
Then he ran all the way to the bank.

“A crank is someone with a new idea, until it catches on.”

Said the Ambiguous Affair
Said the ambiguous affair
Call me,
corral me,
challenge me
into a beautiful affair.
Keeps a grin on even in my alone time.
It's like living the life of a daydreamer,
always there.
Spooky!
Will I regret it?
For God Sake
It's an affair!
These things never ever goes to sleep.
They stay awake
like howling wolves.
Sometimes more so after you die.

Lullaby For a Daydreamer
We are made to make it up as we go
extracting wild ideas from our minds;
Dancing to music no one else can hear
yet graceful every motion seems to flow;
Buried moments turn into hidden finds
once uncovered they never disappear;
The strongest cravings you can satisfy
just escape reality shut those blinds;
Fall asleep wander without any fear,
listen to a daydreamer’s lullaby
my dear....

Bio
A Daydreamer From Way Back
I daydream in my car
driving on auto pilot
Not surprised when I reach
work, as it happens daily.
I am in the zone of
complete and utter unknowing
Scary when you realize
I am behind the wheel of a car
I am a daydreamer from way back.
It started in third grade
When an overly harsh teacher
shut me down almost completely
Daydreaming saved me daily in her class,
for she thought I was listening so I was not punished as often as the others....

A Daydreamer
My love my symphony
My Reality
I ponder and wait for your return
To which I worry with concern
It's been far to long this war
My fingers actively write this score
my music inspires hope to your cause
As sleepless nights I long for your touch
Your sacrifices are to much
For your king and country
I wish you could see
That a woman's love needs you
Please keep safe in all you do,
remember to hold my heart in your endeavour
For I will love you forever....

I do not know?
Moments In Time
leisurely
peoplewatching
at a bus stop
covertly stealth
casually intruding
penetrating
their bubbles
crossing boundaries
the daydreamer
the tired mother
the grumpy old man
the sleepy student
making assumptions
filling in the blanks
serendipitous
moments in time
taken randomly
out of context

Opened Eyes of a Daydreamer
7-8-2011 Eyes that follow the setting of the sun,
Ears which hear the crashing of the waves,
Gently laying the rising tide at the sea shore’s feet, smells of moist salty seaweed,
Comes forth as another pleasant cool breath,unfolding the darkness of the night of the ocean’s stare,
I’m quickly walking, running from the pearly waves,
I stop to see, smell, hear, and feel, The star bright night against the oceans might,
Just to imagine where I’ve been,again my mind takes flight....
