Henry David Thoreau
Spent two years in a one room chateau
Went to the pond to dip his booty
No dice – lifeguards off-duty
The meadow lake glistening blue
The evening sunlight lilac beam
Blueberry sundaes a blue true
June desserts, we’re a team.
Here I go to bed alone
Wishing you were in my zone
Goodnight dear one from your far away home??
Goodnight my Blessed one
CONSEQUENCES
Full
of lust
he plotted
to win and wear
her;
at
leisure
his desires
permeated his
clan.
A life of David
I would give everything I own
Give up my hat, toupee, and comb
I would give everything I own
Just to scratch your back again.
His image eternal,
the chisel portrays
Beauty in its purest form
—but one word to say

David Pasternak:
For scoring goals, he really has a knack.
With him, I only have one beef:
He scored the goal that sank my Maple Leafs!!!
ziggy stardust struts- -

written for Cyndi’s contest, with my very best wishes for David and Geraldine
It is strange the Church did not care
The statue of David is bare
For women to see
A Saint he could be
With so little that he could share!
David Cameron’s should stand down for his deputy to take over
He makes and validates the tax laws,
What about his character and moral fibre?
Victorian art is quite clean
Though Roman and Greek are obscene
The Queen did not care
That David was bare
But he was quite shy of the mean!
O what light;
Shines ever bright;
At mids night;
The star of David;

THE EMANCIPATION OF DAVID
for millions of years
he slept in marble prison.
Michelangelo
chiseled his naked freedom,
revealing timeless beauty
Superhero with a blue face walks by
"David? you have a car?"
"Who Cares?"
David said
so he Immediately switched in and out like Henry's cage
Listen to poem:
Goliath, a boastful huge giant,
And David, a shepherd and pliant,
So he took a stone,
And crushed his head bone,
Then Israel roared like a lion.
There once was a voice that took flight,
I chased after prepared for a fight,
we fiddled with fickle
and stumbled a little
then scribbled with all of my might.
The star of David
twinkling since eternity
blessing Israel

Bet you haven't heard the latest tale
The Statue of Liberty had a go in the stable
Yup it's true
Between me and you
She messed around with The Statue of David
Admiring crowds adore his looks;
He sure is easy on the eyes,
And stands so proud without his shorts,
But some refer – ahem - to size…

Artist Jaques-Louis David
into politics he once slid
He loved the 'Roman nose'

Here I go again --
Like the wind
Writing gusty currents
Shaping clouds while
Tinting skies --
Giving both angels
And demons notice:
The Hierarchy is yet
God! Next in line, His
lofty poets.
My love where have you gone?
My face like snow that’s white
He touched my face that night
He said it lit like light.
You have betrayed me lover
I’ll never be your other
So, so long my friend.
we being God essence
presence in innocence
singing with joy
devoid of egoic ploy
do blissfully roam
ceasing to resist
as a bliss mist
ignition in renewal
rapture continual
in our heart dome

Sir David Attenborough is an amazing naturalist
Traveling the world over in search of wildlife with a twist
Unique and fascinating
A slave to his narration
Such eye-opening visuals, such an envisionist
