Dark Hours

Shrivelled day,
Mottled charred desires,
Still pursuits,
Dying hope,
Shadowed duty engagement,
We fall and rise still.

Destination

In full moon’s night
She waits
For dark hours to card.
This icy world –
an illusion.
Her Journey is in the air
And destination is,
Beyond the skies.

Through the Night

Sitting, absorbing the pleasures, a gulp of wine from an old mug.
Gazing in to the embers, a lonely flame dances, enhances.
During the dark hours the fields become shrouded in white,
I sat up all night and then it dawned on me.

Ghost In My House

She comes in dreams disguised,
she takes what's needed
to stave her cries.

Her ghostly presence,
scares me not,
for she once lived here
and as not forgot.

Why can she not sleep,
who forsaked her,
made her weep?

Weep in dark hours
in gowns so black,
am I the link,
to take her back?

Premium Member Never Give In

Dream of hope
Hope of dreams
Reality is not what it seems

Dark hours come to drill through your soul
But it's holes can't kill and it's hours soon go

Never give up or turn away
Reality states that winning is made this way

No matter how dark the future be
With hope and dreams

You can make your reality.

Be Not Proud

The great be not proud
when greatness you enjoy
is of under-hand games
dark hours toll their bells

Wards are ready for custody
syringes and bandages wait
glands shall be dry of tears
none at all will emerge
for your noble chaotic order

That day clouds will riot
to carry you on the journey
across the great destiny seas

Shores of Silence

When will you talk
to me
About silence of
love?
Of a thousand sighs
after
dreams of seas,
Where we spent
Dark hours of
struggling looks..?

Ornate with deep
blue laces
Of unspoken
ecstasies,
Each sea is a heart
forsaken for ever!
Abandoned is a shore
of wild rains
Still they, hopeless
hearts, chant
the tune of waves

Why do the seas
still roar?

Premium Member And I Heard

And I heard the geese
Not the domesticated geese
Nor the local geese
But the Canada Geese

And it was Valentine's Day
What an act of love
The Geese came this way
Winter will soon be gone

And Spring will bud
I heard my Savior say
Hope, there's hope in dark hours
Spring will present her flowers..

Yesterday around 2 P.M.
I heard a flock of Canada Geese
On Valentine's Day

Mind Attack

I was assaulted last night,
sleepless gray hands
attached to an insane mind
kept me on the edge
of delirium.
Mind attacks are never real
but when the dark hours
cling to you like spiders
you follow those crazy thoughts
believing it is you who thinks them
but it is the spiders, the
neuronal web-weaving spiders
that talk and talk and talk
as they walk up and down
your cringing spine.

Dark hours pass into eternity, I can not die.

My skin rots in clumps of putrid... oozing... flesh, yet I linger.

God has forsaken me, as I have him.
You have escaped this desolate world now I see ALL IS for naught.

The Dark Hours
L. B.

A piercing cold has crept into my bones – today !
A numbing chill has penetrated my soul – today !
A thick, chocking lump grows in my throat – today !
A pressure began to swell in my sinuses – today !
A breaking of trust could be felt in my heart – today !
A crashing down of my world could be heard – today !
All came on the “ hush ” to one in the back ground – today !

Escaping Rita

Chased mercilessly
over well- worn tar
palpable loss pushes
a sable brush
dunked in dread
a furious deluge
of fear
 oozes out
blackens every inch
 of familiar landscape
what if’s
eat through
 the still static blue horizon
making a meal
of unborn dreams
slaked only by
hastily grabbed
history
coupled with
ragged spirits
 that desperately
haul hope north
safe haven
on strange soil
still dark hours
 away

Sweet Bird of My Paradise

Are you the sweet bird of my paradise?
Your sunny hues on fluffed wings
Promise warm love in dark hours
You wobble with your soft cuddly breasts
On the leafy branches bending low
Round innocent dots with searching looks
Gaze into my eyes through the glass pane
Tapping on it with your little conical beak
Like butter you slip into my open heart
As a cherub's smile into his mother's

A Poem To Time

Lately time has been very upsetting,
with all its straight forwardness.
Happening when I am not aware
day after day dragging me forward,
dropping Loss like its nobody's business
weaving my past like a secret spider,
in the dark hours of the night.
Silvery strands, wet with tears for what was,
tangling all my tommorows.
Time, with its linear inevitability,
as we tightrope to our futures
what other choice is there?
My life is your consequence.

Beloved

You are the sea that shelters me
              and welcome when in you
              soul and body dive ...

              You are my safe harbor,
              when I dare you
              with my anxieties
             and sadness ...

              You are the comprehensive light
              that focuses on the paths,
              when I enter
              in the saddest and
              dark hours ...

              How lucky i am
              to have you ...!

The Drive

The Drive
I see the ghost-like hulks
Ready to cough into action
To move the heavy earth
Ere the misty air of morning brightens

But now it is with the night we move
The car and I
The road pulls and stretches
As our wheels grind it underneath

We pass with a low growl
Now a smooth ahhh
Now a vlit vlit vlit
Hurtling through the dark hours

Red lights tearing at the tarmac
Memories of a rave tuned passage
The blank lights find a path through the night
Taking me away from home
