A Poem To Time

Lately time has been very upsetting,
with all its straight forwardness.
Happening when I am not aware
day after day dragging me forward,
dropping Loss like its nobody's business
weaving my past like a secret spider,
in the dark hours of the night.
Silvery strands, wet with tears for what was,
tangling all my tommorows.
Time, with its linear inevitability,
as we tightrope to our futures
what other choice is there?
My life is your consequence.

My life is your consequence and so are my tears--well penned--so deep and touching-charma

Cleverly written work. It has truth that needs to be said. Ours lives are not contained unto ourselves but reach out as a sound wave or the wave from a dropped stone. Sara

This feels as if you wrote it from a heart beating in fast motion.....hoping for a peaceful solution. Well done!
