Unable to relax
Unable to release
Crushing capitalism enveloping me
Feeling tight
If I release will they come after me?
powerful juno
roman queen of strong women
your song we still sing
as we escape twinned clutches
of crushing weeds to flower
A cigarette burn hole
with floating memories
crushing the ashy edges.
God, please quit smoking by
the next time you mold me.
It shook the world with chilling grief
Crying shame and disbelief
Crushing every sense of pride
How can I live, where can I hide
Pain
intense, continual
frightening, maddening, depressing, crushing
pills, needles, doctors, prayers
easier, bearable
Relief
must you cook me
a delicious dinner
of his blood and
raw aching
luscious meat
eat not
him his
cool crushing
cream cocktail
eat me
Following the food truck trend,
Peruvian fare:
Beef, chorizo, hot dog, eggs
crushing the limp bun—
one “superburger,”
carne clogged.
Split.
Shook up shaking
the bigot tree
loose nuts crushing
they them me
crosses bashing
crosshair fit
I should know better
but I just can’t quit.
There once was a girl on the levee
Who by anyone's judgment was heavy
She tried to get here
By crossing the pier
But ended up crushing the Chevy
crushing someone’s joy….is like stepping on the butterfly of life

and I'll sing

Thus crushing on her blind date
Causes her to knock over the plate
The food crashes to the floor
Her date runs out the door
So, she tries to determine her fate

bashing men is the latest fashion
crushing all the love and all the passion
relation -ships are sinking
not a love bird was singing
the big nasty is being rationed
You talk with condensing tones
Crushing down on shaken bones.
You whisper secrets in my ears
That you say I had no right to hear
Your claws dig deeper year by year.
The sun rises each day
even though I am experiencing
crushing grief, I can see it and
cling to the hope that one day
seeing a new day begin
will bring me joy again

Carla crazily cries
Cars crash crushing carts
Chad calls cops
Cops curve checking cars
Cars crushed
Circumstances cause cries
Communities clamor calling cops

My dream has to wait.
For another night,
another world.
For a blow
that will get rid of the dirt
crushing innocence
of those who dream.
Meanwhile...
Pick up the fight.
Talk about windy, a record breaker by far
A crane toppled over crushing a bunch of cars
No one was killed
Amazes me still
The goodest luck time to head for the bars
You gave gifts of sour grapes, crushing spirit underfoot.
Transforming bitterness to fine sweet wine, I bade you dine with me,
Yet, I feast alone, at the banqueting table tonight.

swirling
round
sucking the
passing ships
down into the
dark deeps of the
angry sea
crushing the little
boat underneath of
it's massive murky
waters of despair
alone and brave
so proudly he waves
born against frosty Wind
fragile, solitary Sprout
doesn't he know
come one fatal Snow
or one life-crushing Storm
that he'll surely be snuffed out?
we will be free
humanity is learning
at superspeed
the fall of the berlin wall
together with smartphones and facebook
free trade agreements
and crushing crisis
perfect recipe
for freedom.
