CLERIHEW frost

Robert Frost was at a crossroad
as his traditonal style showed
Master of the colloquial voice
rhymn so often his first choice

At a Crossroad

there she stood
vulnerably shy
consumed with doubt
her future in the balance

Two Strangers

A wrong turn in the
Four pathway city crossroad
Made a propitious
Encounter for two strangers
Longing for the magic day

The horse galloped

At the crossroad
I was knocked down
by a speeding horse.
Off it Galloped ,
his mane flowing.

"Oh, harbinger of hope,
please tell them,
I lie broken
awaiting for their help."

Destiny and I

Lost,

At a crossroad of my life,

Destiny I met

Smiling, she inquired where I was

Heading to

“I am waiting for you to tell me.”

Was my reply!

RLF Was Right

Caught at
a crossroad
duality
reigns
Closing
you off
or opening
lanes
That choice
staring back
in the distance
provides
A new
destination
or a place
— you can hide

Biblically 4

when in Eden
please follow
the signs

don't step on
the grass
don't eat any
apples

as you're
leaving
Eden

at the crossroad
right for life
left for knowledge
save yourself

go straight and
take both
with you

What Is Life

Life is a choice
Amidst crossroad
Wise path you go.

Life is freedom
To obtain peace
There should be war.

Life is giving
Sharing is love
Give what you have.

Life's not old age
It's 'bout good times
It's 'bout chances.

Crossroad

And the journey comes to a stop.

Wires dangle in the air
Like unanswered questions -
Darkness looms,
Solemn silence rolls by -
Is it the end of the road - yet,
The sky on the horizon still burns.

Despair

She is there for the show
but somewhere else all the more
in this world of sudden haste
she can not find a place that’s safe

Standing at this lonely crossroad
she's waiting for a source
that’s about all that’s left
for this girl feeling stressed.

Cross Roads

I approach your throne my Maker
Confused and anxious about my fate
Should I take this leap of faith
Should I turn left or right
You say its not by power nor by might
but by your spirit
I am stuck at a crossroad
And I bow at the cross
Lord show me which way to go

Another horse coming

At the crossroad,time ago
A galloping horse knocked down me hard
My world askew.
Today I walk with halting stride
On the rough road where trouble hide
With crutch in hand going slowly.
Yet swaying and flowing another horse
is seen galloping towards me.

Sipping Jack While Singing Charlie

“sipping Jack while singing Charlie”

the season left leaving leaves
left and right right
on the all

around ground except where
a windswept wind kept
the streets clean

at the crossroad cross meant
for meetings to be met
by Paganini and

me
and
Him

You Take Away Me From the Light...

You take away me from the light
into the dusk of faceless streets.
We see faint traces of the bright,
road lamps are all of a sudden lit.

You fell in company with me
so as to come up to the point.
We bypass dirty roadside sleet
and soon walk out of the crossroad.

Adiós

We are here at the crossroad
In our steps the road was behind was long
But in our memories it is short
Limitless time
Still confines our days together
So today we come face to face
With a dreaded goodbye
Well skirted
Adiós amigo
Adiós my friend
Adiós! ! !

The Lord Waits At the Crossroad

Oh, the blessings that awaits when we learn to spiritually evolve, the Lord waits at the crossroad to help us catch up and together walk in the light. 9/17/2019

Warning

Flower of my youth
Take advice
I won’t cry for you
die for you
I won’t wait for you
lie for you

Flame of my sea
Pay heed
I must set sail
at the crossroad
I have to give
two eggs & calico

Flesh of my desire
Give leave
When I go
one of these days
I am not
coming back

Direction

it was the roses

that kept him going

crimson petals

and cinnamon scent

the wreath

full of thorns

with ink blood

tattooed to his crown

a garland of nettles

propelled his feet

as he took the lonely walk

away from the crossroad

Innerself

When someone is dealing with one’s feelings where’s the love? When someone is at a point of feeling out of sync where’s the love? When someone is torn apart emotionally and physically where’s the love? At a crossroad from many different directions where’s the love within thy innerself.

Crossroad Decision

Godless, I faced a crossroad decision,
I knew that I would have to choose.
Facing a situation I did not envision,
God showed me what I stood to lose.
The cancer that had my body bound,
Appeared to me as a death sentence,
And yet God chose to make me sound,
The price I paid was my repentance.

Prisoners' Lament

Down the dusty road of life
past each crossroad of pain and sorrow.
We struggle through each day and night
trusting God for each tomorrow.

With an aching heart full of memories
we think of our family and home.
Remembering love, good times and laughter
knowing fault lies within us alone.

********

     At the end
Of the Cross Road
 Their is this Bridge
Not necessarily My way
But at the design of the Lord
      ------
     At the Crossroad
         Is where...
Dear Lord: I sanction, I pray
With Knowledge and Wisdom
             - Fore -
You show Me the way...

WE STAND

We stand at a crossroad,
look right, look left, look up
don't just stand there, speak up
do turn your eyes to God.

Of right, and left, and up,
Detour always beckons
Light is life we reckon
we don't believe in luck.

Detour always beckons,
Of choice we must beware
Lift up your voice in prayers,
Mercy equals pardon.

Love's Wings

Love asked me to travel with her to see
all the facets of love. I gladly accepted and I
saw and felt things I never knew existed.

All the feelings and emotions were like
colors of the rainbow. I was elated
knowing love at last had found me.

Love took me for a ride and without warning,
she left me at a crossroad full of broken wings.

Deja Vu

Play-rewind; rewind-play.
Something's at play, I can tell that much. Very strange!
What was that all about?
Like I've been here before, living twice at once.
Adorned, with a snapshot of a crossroad.
Memory in telepathy.
In a vantage point empathy of a particularly significant
thing.
But why it's significant? You got me.
Sure got me. Whoa
