Destiny and I

Lost,

At a crossroad of my life,

Destiny I met

Smiling, she inquired where I was

Heading to

“I am waiting for you to tell me.”

Was my reply!

Since she was smiling, I am hopeful it is good news -- whatever the outcome, I know you will face it with a strong positive spirit of love! Well done dear brother. 7

My brother, David, Homer the Greek poet of the 8th BC, said that for each man it is the gods that determine his destiny. Seneca the Roman stoic philosopher, first century AD said that those who accept their destiny, destiny carries them, those who refuse it, destiny pulls them along! My destiny was smiling for she knows I have accepted her so she knows I am not going to cause any trouble. Yes, you are right, whatever happens the outcome will be good for the soul, as Plato puts it in his "Republic. Thank you so much for your kind visit and comment!

We all like those kind of destinies, but sometimes they are hard to come.

You are right, dear Njeri, the point is though how we react when they come. Thank you so much for your lovely visit and constructive comment!
