Being a Student

Being a student is rough
the courses are really tough
but when I hit May
a test each day?
You know what? I've had enough!

Horse Sense

Frank was in the forces
He took many courses
He enjoyed every one
Until his young son
Said, "Dad, why don't we breed horses?"

Rebirth

water
splashes
against my tired face
courses down
my front
then my
back
revives
listless feet
I emerge
greet
the world
in love again

equine telegraphy

Riders exert steering forces
Horses respond and track courses
For gait-along ease
A dah-dit leg squeeze
Serves steeds and their Morse code sources

Tigger and Leo

Tigger and Leo

A Tiger and Lion joined forces
To run some Man-eating courses
Tutors Tigger and Leo
Said attack at the Knee-o
Then enjoy whatever the Man Course is

Psycho-Meditation 301

The whole idea of a ‘leisure class’
is not as distant as it seems

when students prep for life with courses
~ like ‘Meditation and Recurring Dreams’

Meaningless Rhymes-2

A clever horse grazes grass before the dawn phases,
out in the open field, a man gazes,
and amuses as destruction causes.

Due to a river changing courses,
Due to the man's travesty of resources.

Fair Ware and Tare

Fair Ware and Tare

Golf courses will have ways that are fair;
Rivers cut through due to ware and tare;
Must be saying,
Here much golf playing;
Does anyone have an eagle they can spare.

Plotted dis-----courses
Imminent domain portals
floating prism light shows
Energy from all life eternal
eclipses all exit strategies
Soul train revival
ride of your lives
Get on board for infinity.

Seasons On the Mississippi

Mighty curving snake courses
Monstrous volume Mississippi
Like great dark horses
That in the spring feels zippy
Whose frozen waters now like ornithopappi

Knowing the Changing Tides

Love is an ocean the tides are always changing
Love is a game with wins and loses
Love is the wind changing courses at will
Love is grapes sometimes sweet sometimes sour

I may not be very old... but I know what love is

The Fear Within

There is a fear that lurks within
It courses straight and true
I don't know even why it's there
I haven't got a clue
If I could but once again
I'd start my life anew
Without the dread and emptiness
Yes all I need is you.

Trump Two Lips

Trump Two Lips

After having done several flips
Tiptoe through the Trump two lips
Is what many of his lies have done;
His nature is part of and him upon;
To golf courses taking many trips.

Skiing

Skiing steep sloped slaloms one snowy week,
Knowing my courses from every stark peak.
In whiteouts of bitter blizzards bleak
Which lacked hazards to frighten me to freak.
Nothing was too risky to stop my streak,
Getting ski heroes poled into a creek.

Rivers

The Tigris and Euphrates,
they flow like time,
murmuring and sighing
and running their individual courses,
cradling Mesopotamia,
their land,
in life,
and flooding the plain in alluvial soil,
for cities to put down deep roots,
the wonder of humanity.

Choices

Fear courses through me
Another day passes
Jobless and on the hunt
Sleeping on an unknown couch
Errors and lies lead to angry families
Run
Help
Fear
Homeless?
Idaho?
No.
Stay
Even if it's not good
Love
Fear
Hate
Confusion
Help!
Please!
Help.....

On becoming Obscene'

Are things becoming obscene..'
With the (over-greens?)
Starvation an aim ?
Sacrifice..' Is it on your name?
M I N D the slope.. So
Much evidence..' Yet offers?, No
Hope..Whats cooking ain't
Chook.' And its really, not so good
If you'll only take a look..!

Spring Flood

.
                                               Rain, flood
                                             Excess water
                                   Compact heavy snowfall
                           Melting snow, rain courses seaward
                                               Flooding

Besieged Eyes

Mind still after shattering storm
In the carved soul’s canyon deep
Flows the stream of sorrow silent
With memory dregs of drowned dreams
On the dry courses of tear drops etched
Beneath the melancholic eyes besieged.

By Love Posessed

i am filled
with an abiding passion
a decidedly overwhelming
sense of completion
at the mere touch
of your hand
and you are inside me
light bursting
from a heart
overcome with emotion
pulsing with desire
that courses through
my every vein
my mind
my body
my soul
are

Country Couple

post script beyond a country fence
scribbled in the earth of a farm house
post graduate courses wasting her time
when all she should want to be is a mother
posting and roasting in a bonfire
dreams and wishes of a frustrated man
whose post digging took his mind off
his inability to control his wife

Clueless Men

Most men really don't have a clue
They are reason we ladies feel sad
We take courses, powder, paint we do
Most men really don't have a clue

Attention, touch, caring yes you
Just a little time__happy glad
Most men really don't have a clue
They are reason we ladies feel sad

River of Dreams

A river of dreams courses the mind, cresting and flowing
Long lost memories swirl in her midst ~ nostalgic wishes
Swept by wonder's tides, we are carried from reality's shore.
