  until the executioner arrives

Political Correctness

Opinions sanitized
Freedom of gagged speech
Trespassers legalized
Patriots criticized
What values do we teach?

Political Correctness

As always
The tyrant
Wants to silence and oppress
By whatever means,
Even political correctness.

Political Correctness

If you want you and me to connect, be politically always correct. If you call a spade "spade", then you've not made the grade. So I'm sorry — we must disconnect.

Cancerian

Caught in the 60’s
Anti political correctness
Navy Reservist Retired
Closet liberal?
Entertaining
Republican registered but votes with heart
Inspired by idiots in Washington
Annoyed with politicians
Not normal thank God!!!

Our Blood Will Drain

Three dead cops…
  our thoughts and prayers

Will we ever learn,
  what will make us care

The end will not come,
 as false prophecy ordains

In political correctness,
  our blood will drain

Caught In The Glow

Do you like
knowing
or the idea
of knowledge
The pretense
of perception
or a wellspring
sublime

Political
correctness
or the search
for a moonbeam
Relighting
your way
as you glow
— in its shine

Tired

Tired
Of political correctness
Cultural awareness
Sensitivity.
Tired of everything
Being an excuse
A syndrome
A disability.
Tired of a society that's
Thin-skinned
Entitled
Oblivious.
The constant bombardment
Leads to indifference
At best.
Tired.

The Vilest of Lies

Political correctness…
  the new dirty word

Meaning perverted,
  excuses now heard

It masks and it covers,
what it most tries to hide

As it preys and then smothers
  —with the vilest of lies

(Villanova Pennsylvania: September, 2016)

Politice Rectam

Married to correctness,
divorced from the ideal

The truth becomes enigma,
veracity to steal

Facts bury in self interest,
the cheaters run and hide

All trysts a fated exercise
—philandering with lies

Layers

Layers

Strip away the superficial.
Place political correctness aside.
Forgive hurts of the past.
Erase all tension and harsh feelings.
Seek thoughts of love and understanding.
This is what you’ll find.
I’m you. You’re me.
We are the same
In truth, there isn't a divide.

Mother

MOTHER

People often cry

And ask when does life begin?

Does the answer lie

With clinical exactitude?

With religious dogmatism?

With legal certitude?

With political correctness, or other?

No, the simple fact is that

Life begins with the word mother

Thought Control 1984 and 2017

Spin, spin is no sin they say
Political correctness ,must win the day
Group think of politicians who claim
to know best
Conform, conform, be subject to their will
is always their quest
These limousined elite ,
the subject of my political tale

Enfranchisement and freedom
has , and will always prevail

Brave New World of Pc

Political correctness prevails
words dissemble & dissimulate,then
lose their meaning in semantic sounds.
Decadent hedonism,attired in faded
blue jeans,with fundamentalist fury
points its finger here,there everywhere
and for the past apologises yet…. fails,
Alice in Wonderland has
come to pass, but can never last.

Paid For Words

I
She was a prophetess
Dealing with vision, words
Then came political correctness
Some tongues are incarcerated

II
Have you paid (absurd)
For your every word
Some want you "wrong"
Others say, "Go along"

III
Dr. King used diction
Minus hate, violent action
So did Diedrich Bonhoeffer
What would you offer?

Questions about Sleepers in Space

Astronauts sleep like bats
Hanging from the ceiling in bags
But this does not tell us about astro-cats
Do they sleep in cots made of rags?

What about astro-dogs and astro-pigs?
Are their bunks teeny or the biggest of the bigs?
Has there yet been an astro-horse?
Political correctness says there should be one of course.

A Notice To Our Customers

Valued clients, we have listened
and have taken on-board
your concerns
regarding the political correctness
of this our store.

Thus we are now a Gun-Free Zone,
and are confident that the notices
on our front doors will dissuade law breakers,
will make us much less vulnerable
from attacks by gun totting maniacs.

Please do bring the kids.

Gypsy No More

What we once called a gypsy moth
Will get another name;
In caterpillar form, as well,
Its fate will be the same.

For “gypsy” is derogatory
And the name offends.
Political correctness means
That what is hurtful ends.

Old habits don’t die easy deaths
So many still will claim
That gypsy moths are being drawn
Like you-know-whats to flame.

A Poisonous Union

Add colour to a bunch of expensive waste, Its still rubbish to rescue a prey from its determined predator create an exit in one cubicle is a hungry snake and a well nurtured fish to suggest fairness in this scene, we stubbornly close it one is feasted upon for another to have a nice dish yet for political correctness we look away to the opposite.

Poetry and Freedom

Poetry and Freedom

A poet is still free to write about what they choose.
Come now, what do we have to lose?
Poetry~ one of the last bastions to be free.
With political correctness on the raging warpath!
After all words with mendacious audacity.
To steal words from group-think and rob us of poetic individuality!

Archie Bunker-Those Were the Days

Dear Archie,

It's best you find your bunker

The world as we know it

Has certainly gone asunder

Political correctness

Don't it make you wonder

If we should be taking names

And writing down their numbers

Oh and Archie,

Lucky now your six feet under

Out of lightenings range

And all the man made thunder

Those were the days

We could laugh like murder

At each other

Goodbye Archie bunker

Referendum Might Work

Referendum might work

Minority groups control the world
Most people have no say
Do we want political correctness, no
Will the masses have their day

If you look back to the 1960s
Back when the system worked
Back when the police got respect so swiftly
And the teachers discipline Irked

Parents can’t control their kids
Mothers driven crazy
Don’t spank the child it’s not did
A slap over the wrist for Daisy
