Paid For Words

I
She was a prophetess
Dealing with vision, words
Then came political correctness
Some tongues are incarcerated

II
Have you paid (absurd)
For your every word
Some want you "wrong"
Others say, "Go along"

III
Dr. King used diction
Minus hate, violent action
So did Diedrich Bonhoeffer
What would you offer?

Sometimes the price of words are too high, and actions take over. Then words of regret follow. Some lift, some lower, depends on the bestower at times. Just rambling. Well written piece. Artful, full of power and imagery. Ann
