Great tiny apple
Consequence of branches untrimmed
Will anyone bother to learn
That you are
Defiantly delicious?
You told me you loved me
Yet even though it hurt me
You took it away
Now I am left alone while
You live without consequence
A familiar tale so oft told
of one so shy .. the other bold
an affair that started in the rain
was love a consequence or pain?
On the road
we are
beyond
all consequence
Troubadours
of destiny
children
— of an ageless song
(Dreamsleep: December, 2024)
Paul Cezanne wasa little obsessed
perhaps a consequence of stress
Painting Mont St Victoire agin&again
as a wy of releasing artistic pain
——— A FIGMENT OF CONSEQUENCE
the thermostat’s kept so low ~ my amputated phantom-pained toes freeze

To wonder
To move freely
To speak without
Consequence
Mountains in the deep
Peace without speech
Hope on the horizon
To new beginnings
With love comes consequence
With hope comes failure
With triumph comes fear
With peace comes worry
With riches comes pain
With poverty comes envy
A bug crawls my floor
Going about it’s business
I stamp out his life

The noose is loose
by our choice we choose
consequence suffocating
failure of our inner relating
We hang in the balance of our own rope.......
this might only take a moment ~ but perhaps could last a trillion more
echoed cause to its consequence ~ you were always just my guarantor

When athletics have no consequence,
The long jump and high jump make no sense,
You can still leap ten feet,
Even hurdle a street,
If you lean on an electric fence.
Have I simply risen
up to meet your
falling expectations?
Or, are we so matched
(as we believe)
that love's the merest consequence
of our sweetest of summations?
A babbling tongue,
Is like a weapon of mass destruction;
It indiscriminately destroys,
And disables, with harsh words,
Those targets, who to it,
Are of no consequence.
i am a bird
trapped in the cage that i built
captured by the grief inside
seized by my own greed
ruling my own little world
unable to escape
for my sins were too heavy
free by a sacrifice-
a sacrifice for free
emily:MEASURE BY MEASURE
consequence is my wage-
if I with vengeance wage
UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCE
bobbing in blue waves...
oyster fishermen snatch forth
...starfish limbs lobbed off
unintended consequence
creating newborn nation

A chance meeting
a mere coincidence
one look
in a magical moment
where one sees and feels
a depth of emotion
to the other it was
a fleeting moment
with no consequence.
Your love is thin
it has no flesh
its a pretty face
with no consequence,
so I tell myself
go without the water
by summer the malt
will be in order
your love is thin.
An event horizon,
Mysteries of the sun,
Love is the foundation,
Look at what we've done,
Ending our beginning,
A generation of greed,
Be careful what you wish for,
Sower of the seed.
Form:
Often,
one who can
… wont
More often,
one who can’t
… will
Reluctance
by the
one
Arrogance
by the
other
—and the world to suffer their consequence
(The New Room: May, 2023)
happiness
or heartbreak
two sides
of the penny
of life,
the irony
of chance
smiling
or
raining
upon our parade,
day
by
day
consequence
comes into
..p!ay..
Each day I do my best to see
What's meant to be the best for me
Instead I find what's always wrong
It seems to make my days so long
I do what I consider best
Still my consequence never seems to rest
Cold, black seat
Transfixed there.
Mind made up
My choice I’ll bare.
Needle to wrist
Sharp point sense.
Pain is now
Consequence.
What is inked
Ever glows.
What it says?
Come look to know.
years of devotion
boiling down to
this very moment
