Confiscated Dream
She too had many dreams
Which had nothing to do with streams.
Although it crashed
She wasn't smashed.
She knew she would somehow manage to beam....

Your Picture
Your picture
Only captured half your story
Yet I confiscated
Your entire mentality
Within seconds
You may be good at hiding
But I’m better at seeking...

A Calculated Decision
Miss Armitage entered Calculus class
To stand amidst a disorderly eruption
And she immediately confiscated a catapult
Deemed to be a weapon of math disruption...

Food Police
How I hate the Food Police
Watching watching me
Counting out the calories
Watching what I eat

Go away so I can sneak
Tip-toe tip-toe EEK!
Where’s my hidden stash of sweets?
Confiscated treats!

Confiscated Instead of Waited
Confiscated Instead of Waited

Instead of for a while Trump having waited,
Committed a crime and things confiscated;
A liar born
With much scorn;
Was provocative when he always prevaricated.

Official Statement
Reduced to a piece of luggage
with memories of hanging gardens
zippers split open with grinning, yellow teeth
I surrender my neatly folded heart
to be confiscated, devoured, and cemented...
by a patrol who cannot border my tears......

Premium Member Waiting For the Right Sailor
wearing a gorgeous blue topaz necklace
confiscated from the spoils of the Titanic
a sultry siren blows watery smoke rings in the Atlantic
waiting for a handsome naive sailor
willing to follow her down the depths of despair
where extra loot lies in wait...

Premium Member Merry Christmas
It didn’t matter the detriment or the law,
What was confiscated was our freedom.
Love is a warrior.
Time is the enemy.
Make friends with your enemies
Knowing they win in the end.
That’s why humor is so sacred.
See we are not so insufferable, after all.
All around us is love and momentous light....

The Bible
If all the Bibles were confiscated and burned,
Would you have enough of it in your heart,
To help you get to heaven-
To make it through the dark?

Without the Bible in our homes, and in our hearts,
Darkness like we have never known before,
Would cover our land from sea to sea.
In your heart is an abundance of it stored?...

Bullet Holes and Broken Mandalas
subject
object
one hand clap,

kaleidoscopic
head trippin'
on the road without a map,

illuminated
confiscated
buddha’s holy rap,

no self
myself
nirvana's just a trap,

rocket trip
crashing down
head ringin’ trigger slap,

genocidal
herbal tea
messiah takes a nap,

broken flags
burnin’ toys
helmet hammer double tap,

win some
lose more
karma takes another lap…...

Seized Sea's Tumult
Sapphire currents
          engulf consciousness
      'neath waves of confiscated
   ancient sunken treasure,
delving neath oceans
       cobalt manifests,
   lost riches of bygone eras
   destined to respectfully
        resurface its significance,
   midst new horizons' encompassed
realms as clarity's power deeply inhales
                 depths of salty sea's tumult...

Premium Member Weapons Confiscated
I have never even seen a Ninja
But I bet you didn’t know that, did ya?

I am just a peaceful soul
     A video game “Black Hole”

You know your WiFi’s safe with me, don’t ya?

Although each Ninja has the same dark face
I won’t be inviting one to my place

     All weapons confiscated
     At the door; I’m elated

To keep Ninja warfare out of my space

Misty Day
Today the mist rules, stolen horizon
in a merge of sea and dank air, sky
confiscated, parcelled in a grey
patination like macular degrade.

Fields and village prematurely aged
to lie in a state of transience,
shrouded in mourning funereal garb
fashioning weighted reverend silence.

Even the rising tide treads quiet
in its take as the pacing frill
of frothed surf whispers a rhythmic lullaby
to the drowsing day beneath its blanket....

Venom
I kiss his soft lips
Inhale his scent
As I take another breath
Within his venom I went

His arms wrapped securely
Around my limp frame
He looked deep into my eyes
With spears and flames

With such compassion
Extreme grace
He stabbed my heart
With each touch to his face

My lungs expanded
With poison from his exhale
He never said a word
Just confiscated what was frail

Death is not was he seeks
Just to wound his prey
Beware of the venom
A kiss of death may be on it's way...
