symphony in two majors

she is the music
that my whole body sings

Friendship's Symphony

Friendship:

An ecstatic symphony,

Inspired by the soul,

Written by the mind

And

Conducted by the heart!

Symphony

A Waterfall
A Tropical Rain
A Hurricane
All a Symphony
Conducted by the Great Conductor
Tempo, Beat
Nature a Treat
To the ears
Nothing to fear
Perfect in all ways
Created in seven days
A Symphony

Name Shock

The service conducted by the Reverend Bailey,
Irene Paula Lee married Jonathon Daley,
Now thee months since that day has passed,
Things going smoothly, nothing aghast,
Until a letter came addressed to, I. P. Daley

The Peccadilloes of Life

Life can be a symphonic bonanza,
A philharmonic extravaganza,
A choral sunrise,
And an orchestrated surprise,
A conducted ecstasy,
An instrumental epiphany,
These are the peccadilloes of life,
The crescendo of my eternity.

Epigram and Senryu

Epigram
Drone war is conducted by those
unwilling to give up anything against
those who are willing to sacrifice all
in order to get rid of alien intruders.

Senryu
Drones strikes are
Conducted by cowards
Who do not like
The sight of blood

Loony Toon Went To Moon In Bib Balloon

When we go to moon
we have been in big balloon
like a looney toon

memory applied
when river would open wide
had been at high tide

conducted caper
to become conservator
of her curvature

of time when in expanse
ended up splitting my pants
planting perfect plant

Way Out

I feel my way
within this space
conducted safely
by the seasons

hand over hand
along the fence
of my settled
course of days

securing myself
at the posts
of my reliable
cycle of hours

I slip off the trail
through the cracks
on the barrier-free
crossings of time

End Game - Panmunjom, July, 1953

Three years of 'police action,'
Conducted according to
The doctrine of 'limited war,'
In order to pursue
A policy of 'containment.'
Police action?
Containment?
Limited war?
Guess that’s why
I don’t feel like Patton
Pissing in the Rhine.
War is all hell.
Don't sugar coat it.

Loss of the Semicolon

Loss of the Semicolon

The semicolon is an odd mark;
The use of which can be quite stark;
It forces us to make a pause;
Before we start a new clause;
Now a study was conducted;
An English college deducted;
That the semicolon is in decline;
So I’d better stop using it in this poem of mine!!!

Hats Off

I never thought I'd see the day
  when Illinois' leaders held sway
Taking the lead in this deadly war
against a virus Mr. Trump tried to ignore

Hats off to Governor J.B. Pritzker
  and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot
In tandem, they've conducted a blitzkrieg
to get Illinois residents to stay put

Open Wide

On Merit alone, I could swallow the World,
But lethargy, 'tis all I've conducted
My Rage itself, could darken the sky
(Feel me explode, like a volcano erupted!)

To my Failures, fretfully chained
(The effects of the drugs, they've activated)
Senses enhanced, perspectives changed,
And new Revelations to be contemplated...

A Drop To Never Never

A red bounds to halt
ears radar,
and the Nulla Nulla
rolls to beats of thunder
and smash tribute,
in a lightning
conducted heaven

An invite of ozone
in the showered mist
heralds,
a first riff,
as black opal clouds,
open
to concert

A drop hits,
the emptiness
before the tempest,
consumed silence

Mars Mining For Mineral Treasures : Future Colonization By AI Race

A consortium for interplanetary exploration has conducted
the first ever mining operation in Mars, using robotic
automation that unearthed many valuable minerals and
uncommon elements from beneath the red regolith.
Scientists are not yet sure if for future Martian
colonization and mining activities they have to breed
an AI race.

Yard Work, Eternal Style

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the grass grows fast in heaven

and the weeds are never ending

the folks in wings and shears

are the ones who won't stop sinning

virtue has its merits the

rewards can be quite great

but there's something said for sin

conducted with a rake

Eulogy

PETER HAPPY
               Peter happy
              glad he died ...
              He died happier
than when he was born ...

                  CONDUCTOR
              The night he died
               the grand conductor,
               that gala night
               no one his orchestra,
                conducted ...!

Bubbles

She started at dawn when dew was glistening, and bubbles were dancing to the tune of kerosene lamps.

Clinging to Words

"Love you a lot."
Words never said with honest hands.

This devilish lip-service
conducted
by defrocked priests.

I will not love myself
until,
I find you in a hole
I also can jump into.

We will huddle together
listening for the
hot breath of hunting wolves,

not knowing it is we,
we who breathe so coarsely,
so loud,
so lost and feral.

Sheba Queen Owl

Sheba conducted her business like a queen
An owl who had kindness without any mean
We loved her look, her feathers were bright
Everything she said and did turned out right.

Sheba acted like she was not regal at all.
We tree people knew her ideas were never small.
Her empathy and resourcefulness were the bomb.
She will always be our queen, but without aplomb.

The Conductor

Once I knew a man

Said that he should lead the band

I thought that it was grand

He was willing to take a stand

He conducted the high notes well

Really made them swell

However the music …it was dissonant

As the bass was so un-content

It seems to reach the heights

That man had lost his sight

All notes must play a role

For the music to have a soul

Ocean Waves

In perfect rhythm
A gently flowing ballad
Perfect melody

Tugging at my heart
Softly lifting my spirit
Tickling my senses

A song of beauty
Calling to the universe
To maintain all life

Everlasting tune
Beckoning for all to see
Shimmering with hope

Singing out for peace
In harmony with the wind
Conducted by God

Alert

At exactly 2:20
There’ll be an alert
Which, if you have a cell phone,
You cannot avert.

Conducted by FEMA,
This country-wide sound
Will let everyone know
That there’s danger around.

Since this is just practice,
There’ll be no real harm,
Just a test of a national
Safety alarm.

They’ve given fair warning,
Yet I would surmise
That for many, this will be
A scary surprise.

Elemental Inception

Valleys rich with lively green,
forests stretching tall only can be seen…
Arrays of flowers shine their color spectrum in brilliant gleam…
Nature’s outdoor symphony conducted by the sun,
nourished by a clear stream packed full of salmon on their run…
Bull frogs feasting on water bugs, skating upon the fluid glass…
Your wisdom lesson here is the oneness shall never pass…
