Bottom To Top
I'm trying to go from bottom to top like basement to top floor Crustacean the Condor
Bottom of the Basin
To the top of the rock formation Raising my elevation till
I'm high as a concord...

Premium Member The Aura

As a condor soars.
It radiates beyond cure.
Passion at its core.
Vibrant, vitally pure.

Enchanting romance
Laughing in the rain
We talked about jazz,
And of hurricanes.

 A liquid sunshine smile.
A butterfly as we dance.
Azure fire in her eyes.
Sparks of desire from her hands.

Bevels with contours.
Wild yet demure.
This Aura she wore
Is Primal Allure.

Premium Member Love's Fire
He flew away, soaring high, like a young condor

With a thousand dreams in his heart

His mind, a compass, set toward the eastern shore

To find his love waiting, beneath the stars

Two lovers, united, blazing bright from afar.

Altiplano
Hoch am eisigen Himmel
Über dem schroffen Gestein
Gleitet der Kondor

Dort wo die Vicuñas grasen
Treffen sich Feuer und Eis

--------------------------------

High in the frigid sky
Above the craggy rocks
Glides the condor

There where Vicuñas graze
Impinges fire on icy ground

---------------------------------

Alto en el cielo helado
Sobre las rocas escarpadas
Planea el condor

Dónde pastan las vicuñas
Se unen fuego y hielo...

Notes To Uncertain Gods
Auroras of rain
Imprint water
On flat roofs
In New Orleans—
Notes written
To uncertain Gods
Dulling brains
In wavering sheens.

Dampness
Burdens air redolent
In organic greenness.

We etch hazy sky
With ancient shadows,
Avoid silences,
Refuse darkness
& quiet walks.

An aureole of grayness
Pulses from fingertips
As we wander in rain,
Hands like hollow things
As millions of raindrops
Do not mean, but are—
A cold, dark beating
Of condor wings....

Premium Member Not My Day
Goblins grabbed me up in light of day
I was so surprised I yelled out “hey!”
Shut up one said.
Bonked me on the head.
So I bit him where the sun don’t stray.

He dropped me swiftly and right away
I figured there might be hell to pay.
Condor picked me up.
I felt like a pup.
He dropped me in San Francisco Bay

But here I was not destined to stay
Guy on a sailboat shouted “May Day!”
He fished me out
With a merry shout
A poltergeist snatched me; it is not my day!...

Heavenly Jade Ghost
Ghostly figure in white
Wearing the oni mask
Softly plays the heavenly jade xiao
gleaming in the moonlight
Underneath the peach blossom trees
A sweet fragrance in the air
Near the pagoda waits
Like a Ghost in the night
Playing the song of the sea and waves
On haunted isle
While peach blossoms swirl around
Eastern evil waits patiently
Awaiting the day his daughter comes home
