My intention was to talk about family, who is your blood. Sometimes, family fights and can pull you apart instead of building you up. The "one vein..." part was meant to portray how a family is one unit, or one vein, yet it is still comprised of different people and different personalities (multiple layers). Hope that helped explain :)
