Hands of jagged cliffs
Reach to cup clear mountain wine
Earthly communion
for Raul's contest - Rhythm of the Falls
Only when we fill our hearts with love for one another are we in communion with the Divine.

My Father
Tanka
Preaching the Gospel
In his hand is a Bible
Wearing white long robe
Gave me my first communion
The Father - is my father.

There was a dear Vicar of Bray,
Fell out of his pulpit one day.
Jumping up, said I’m fine,
Too much Communion wine,
That inebriated Vicar of Bray.
Some affirm
tropics are sad
as well as railway stations.
Believe.
The choice is for
all those who passed by.
And for a Communion
(with
a rose).
Salt from the sands of Egypt
Sprinkled into wine
To banish dark memories
Red wine mixed with myrrh
Infused with pink salt
Through wisdom
Praise!
in thought rested stillness
attention animated
we receive
grace
poised thus
in the vibrant void
agendaless vibrance
is in communion with God
Our fellowship and community intact and well-maintained
Revered flat bread and wine bring unexpected glorious gifts
He watches His flock discuss Him in beautiful unity
Kneeling before your altar in praise,
I sip your wine and taste the blood;
Take your body into mine and feel your strength.
All is forgiven, and I am at peace with you.

Friend,
twin heart
from another heart...
Earthly imagery
replicant of the higher spheres...
Where those who already reach it
experience and live
in communion and harmony...
Let us please keep the Christ in Christmas
The X does no one any good.
We do not worship X man
Anyway, I hope not.
Be with your people
In communion

Trump and Unions
We all better be going to communion,
Before we hear Trump State of Union;
For President picked,
A dumb derelict;
Hear he did consult with Soviet Union.

Bile-blood
Drip drops
On the
BLacktop
From my mouth,
Christened like
The cup
During communion-
This pavement
Shall be my
Chalice
I guess
Even asphalt
Can be a
Heavenly view.

Someone’s Calling You
Someone’s calling you
To awake within the dream
Simply see the love
That has only always been
(11/19/23)
feeling we are one
a communion with nature
I am an oak leaf
lifted by the breeze
soaring through the atmosphere
united with soul
natural changeling
a transmogrification
now I am the wind
Solitary monks
Come togerher as brothers
Simply in communion.
The Spirit binds
Each man's life.
They work,
And they pray
To the glory of God,
Breakling bread together,
Renouncing the evil world.
He wanted to spend a life of chastity
so off he went to a Jesuit seminary
till he saw pretty damsels during communion
and out the window flew his cherished vocation!
superficial courtesies
hollow social chatter
mundane inanities
are so wearisome
let’s go extempore
rid of habit patterns
free from all bondage
in communion with soul

He mentioned that she was beautiful.
He touched her
needing a tactile communion.
She pulled away affronted.
He wrote a poem about the incident
that later was used
as evidence against him.
