Communion

Kneeling before your altar in praise,
I sip your wine and taste the blood;
Take your body into mine and feel your strength.
All is forgiven, and I am at peace with you.

Funny story, my sister just mentioned how she always feels so cleansed after communion. She was walking home after one Sunday morning and someone drove by and splashed all over her and she just cussed em' out. She felt like everything holy just drained right out of her. And that now she would have to wait a whole month till the next communion. :) May God's peace be with us all. :)

Oh yes, right when you become comfortable, something happens to test our faith. Thanks for the story and the read. ~Jan
