take note
Twas the owl and the ***** cat in their
pea green boat

I do not understand the four stars. Why ruin my poem soup moguls?
Columbus and Vespucci charted the sea foam,
their star-studied maps taking them far from home~
till their helmsman did say,
“Hey, take your sextants away…
you ancient sea-souls, get a room for your tome.”
Christopher Columbus’s claims were outlandish.
Queen Isabella was truly upstandish.
The court said he would fall off the edge.
So they bombarded him with mean sledge.
The queen still gave three ships to trycandish.
