Ah, If Columbus

Ah, If Columbus had not sailed
for America: the new land,
cigarettes wouldn't kill
those feeling the chill...
many would be alive, not dead!

AHA, now it makes more sense. I had read the one you just deleted and didn't understand it,but I see you completed it now! I like the premise of this. But who knows, they may have found some other vice to kill themselves with! Andrew, that was not my wedding day I wrote of. Just a fantasy day for an Autumn contest I had entered.
