Thick Goodness
My favorite drink, so thick and rich.
It's much better,
When in a cold cup.

Chocolate milk; it goes with any meal,
It's a drink
And a dessert,
All in one....

Crystalline magic
In a water drop
Coffee so heavy
Chocolate milk sheer slop

Crystalline clearness
In water of the ocean
A lightness that flows gently
Into the sea’s magical potion...

Bessie the Cow was feeling sick, they say
She'd swallowed something rotten in the hay
   She mooed and she mooed
But it did her no good --
The chocolate milk tasted different that day...

I caught a mermaid he told us.
We laughed until our teeth flew out.
Chocolate milk spurted out of Hubert’s nose.

I can show her to you, he said.
We could not stop laughing.
Until he did....

An overnight visit from
brothers that fight
ride two-wheel bikes
and chug chocolate milk
brings out some pouting,
some sharing issues,
and a new found appreciation
for toys long-forgotten....

Mornings
Brown tears
Dripping down.
Fear nears
Without a sound.

Soft eggs
Slide across.
Craned neck
Looking in loss.

Green wafts
Towards nose.
Bile laughs
Way up my throat.

Air parts
For putridity.
Day starts
With stupidity.

Buttermilk
(This is a fictional poem)

My cow didn't give buttermilk when I pulled on her udders.
Only regular milk came out even though I fed her lots of butter.
Now I'm feeding my cow lots of chocolate but no chocolate milk is coming out.
People say when it comes to believing that I'm stupid, they have no doubts....

Premium Member Milking It
While others give grief, a chocolate milk cow often stutters, and how! In her udder relief, she utters “ca-cow” while producing cacao, tells the nutters, Ciao, ciao. Not one to chew fat, a crow in the know tells her, no, it’s cocoa but she says he’s loco, and a raven, at that.

Coverting Within the Si
Converting within the SI units,
Or metric system,
Is not a tough task.
How do you begin?
There are 2 ways,
That I know,
Dimensional analysis,
By using the powers of ten,
Or moving the decimal by,
Using this acronym,
KHDDCM-
King Henry Died Don't Call Me,
Or King Henry Died Drinking Chocolate Milk.
Which one do you use?
Use the one that is easier to you....

Premium Member Ordering Coffee At Mcdonalds
Three sweeteners please
And add two packets of sugar
A dab of caramel silk and two shots of chocolate milk.

The woman glared at me.
This is McDonald’s she said, not a Starbucks.
You want all that in lemon tea?

Never mind, I said, feeling foolish.
I forgot that I had finally decided on tea instead of coffee.
The rest of the people in line moaned their displeasure as I left....

See Mommy
She cried "See Mommy!"
And the anguish grew to such a pitch
I tried to console
In time, she will be here

The idea never stuck
And "See mommy" grew in intensity
We tried chocolate milk
We tried the kitty book
There was no filling the gap
In her tiny psyche

And realizing everything else was a distraction
We just held there in erupting pain
Until her tears dissolved and her heart could breathe...

Chocolate I do love You,

I do, I do, I do, I do,

I eat you almost every day,

I can’t live without You, no way,

I don’t smoke, and I don’t drink,

You just look at me from the shelves and appear to wink,

Dark chocolate, milk or even white,

I sink my teeth into You, and take a bite,

Yet I still have managed to loose 42lbs,

By not keeping You out of bounds....

Premium Member Deciding On My Breakfast Drink
I am thirsty but cannot make a decision.
We have orange juice
prune juice
cranberry juice
apple juice
tomato juice
red grapefruit juice
We are out of cranberry juice, my husband reports.
Well, this helps a little.
We have chocolate milk, white milk, strawberry milk.
I think I’ll have coffee, I tell him.
I hear him groan.
My coffee is made with several extra steps.
You have to add a packet of cocoa, chocolate milk and two sugars....

Keeper
I drink my morning latte
you're drinking chocolate milk
I'm eating a french pastry
you're eating, I don't know what
I'm reading the New York Times
you're reading a comic book
I clear the morning table
while you stretch and yawn

let's go back to bed
you say with one of those looks
I read you loud and clear
and follow you from the room
it's this part of our love
where everything is right
you're a keeper baby
and I am here for good...

Chocolate Milk
Sitting at a coffee shop
I look over and see a tall glass of white milk
I go over and say… you look mighty tasty
I asked, We should go to my place for cookies sometime
A girl looks at me and says
can we make chocolate milk

I look up and say ‘’ oh I’m sorry, I was talking to the glass. ‘’
She got sad, and walked away.
I grab the glass of milk and walked behind her.
I held her hand and say
‘’ Well I can have both ‘’
It takes 2 to tango....

Welcome friend! Come in, have a hug.
Be my bestie for an hour or so...
I have hot tea, coffee, chocolate milk.
Let’s share a chat, and laugh about this snow!

I am so glad you are here!
You have made my day.
Maybe my week or month, my dear.
Take your shoes off and stay.

Curl up and tell me what you are doing.
What is happening, let me know about you.
Welcome friend! You are making my day.
I want to know everything. I am already less blue!...

Premium Member Healthy Or Not
I am staring at a healthy yellow banana with a touch of green.
Tempted? Not really. It is firm like I usually like
A pinkish yellow apple with a bit of a stem.
I am pondering. Will it be sour or sweet?
Who put that chocolate milk on my desk?
Maybe me, a few minutes ago. I am sure it was
But a lot happens in my life in a few minutes.
Banana or apple? Apple or banana? I want to be healthier right?
I reach for my chocolate chip cookie to help me with this decision....
