People can come up with a controversy;
How horrible it is to have some heresy;
Read poem that appears;
Will overcome all fears;
Coffee we drank was full of chicanery.

Low is the road most traveled
Treachery and chicanery 
There is no dirty pool in a back alley brawl
Or guerrilla warfare
Or war at all.
Or love for that matter.
Matter of fact.

We all suffer somehow
All pride must eventually fall.
You get for what you have asked....

No one simply takes up space,
light bends merely stabbing the dew,
and I've never heard of a transparent race,
unless God's creating them- even new.

Wherefrom poetry shades recall,
and the other side of yesterday
is but a dreamt hallucination,
can't see the foliage from trees'
darkly forested boundaries,
insofar as frivolous moonbeams 
agitate sun's glorified imagism 
'midst hues of baubled madness
& vaporous sentiments are replete
within day-trippers' remote motives,
shadowing delusional chicanery
of rosé-tinted Jedi mind tricks...

Under new management
his skin became more porous
epidermal squamous cells
more translucent,
maybe he was just getting older
maybe the new governor
of his think-machinery
did a better job of keeping up with
everyday maintenance.
His eyes were never the best
but he often did not need them
to see through the obvious,
the unconscious slight-of-hand
chicanery of other's.
He also saw where he had been
a facsimile and ersatz to the hilt.
He chuckles now
as he cleans house again....

Many say love makes the world go round,
It captivates us, not allowing our feet to
touch solid ground,
Love hurts and leads us to deceptive places,
allowing us to be pawns in games of chicanery,
Yet, in its power we continue to believe,
knowing that the heart has the ability to deceive,
despite its harrowing ways we perennially continue
the elusive chase, until we decide we have experienced
enough of its chastisement, then, we hold our hearts closely
for serious advisement.............
