Cheerfully said we, "Goodbye and Good Luck"
~ Though hearts meant it tearfully
Wandering freely,
Cheerfully pacing the void,
Coming and going --
Even candles in the wind
Briefly shed light on the path.
families frolic
verdant landscapes sandy beach
daylight lingering
crickets chirping cheerfully
summer’s harbinger of change
A Mexican mule is endowed
To cheerfully service a crowd
Each roll in the hay
Brings shouts of, "Olé!"
And his bray, for crying out loud!
A Ripple of river playing cheerfully with floating leaf , I enjoy.

A Ripple to Me - 2
First place
Contest by JCB Burl
The heavens cheerfully shone
As the sea was completely torn
Love was perfectly shown
But dreamers have sadly gone
Only the surface has been known
Chipotle Chili Challenge champions cheerfully choose chocolate chai cheesecakes

Preferable it is one's destiny cheerfully to embrace
save to be compelled his life's lot grudgingly to face!

The flower of youth never fades
though the body depreciates
Greet cheerfully all who come your way
~ for the smile on your face appreciates
quirk of fate
plans are changed
heart cheerfully adapts
the vast vibrant void too smiles
beaming at nonchalance
as innocence oozes
blissful fragrance

A Filipino
Is like Malus Pumila
Cutting it
Into halves
You’ll find two stars, glowing
For the elegance of its tree, cheerfully
Piping wind songs
To charm
Your daily existence
(An ABC)
Always Be Cheerfully Dancing
Even Foes Get Happy Insides
Just Kissing........ Long Minuets
Not One Personal Quirk Resides
Smiling Taken Unto Vest
With Xanadu Your Zest
Gleefully Chipper
Cheerfully Glad
You are the family
I never had
You don't judge me
You let me be me
You are my best friend
You are family
In one I confide
such dignity brings
A magical ride
like Labrador retriever
squirrel wags his bushy tail
forth and back and forth
happy go lucky* amidst
Autumnal storm of acorns
*cheerfully unconcerned about the future
MORNING HARMONY
Kettle cheerfully whistling its one-note among
The listening bananas with their big sunny smiles.
Sink gurgling softly, swallowing the warm water while
The porridge is singing its porridge song.
I stand in great awe of
Yiorgos the Philanthropist
who in public shared cheerfully
his wealth for the needy.
Oh, what a hypocrisy
It’s unbelievingly hard for him
to give the wages of his good maid
in return, of her long service.
Cheerfully a melody
Will always get you through
Anything your little brain
Will ever create for you.
If there really was a problem
Over which you thought you'd lose some hair,
Just remember that you've not much time
And live without a care.
Bright
yellow
sun
shining.
Lifting our
spirits
makes
us smile
cheerfully.
Bringing us light
happiness
and warmth.
Its
golden
glow always
present
here
on god’s
earth.

Our
Hostess
Committee,
comprised mostly
of women, makes sure
the kitchen is stocked with
supplies, arranges and serves
meals for major church events and
bereaved families. Last, we clean up.
We serve cheerfully, for we feel honored.
humble pansies shine brightly
showy against grey winter sky
floppy faces nod cheerfully
holding heavy heads up high
velvet petals gently flutter
in a purple-white-blue whole
a rainbow hued celebration
thirst quenching for the soul

IF you wake with energy galore
Sans coffee or a pick me up pill
If you can cheerfully ignore
Aches and pains that test your will
IF all yours meals are just the same
But you're happy, not in a fog
Cheerfully, accepting your blame
You're probably the family dog!
Carry the cross, own up mistake
Pay for it cheerfully
It’s better to give than to take
Living thus soulfully
Why have hesitation
All here God’s creation
Upon earth play station
Accept the loss
Carry the cross

Quietus
recognising limitations of body-mind
the vessel allotted for earth life
we make do with the vehicle
remaining always bliss rife
our true Self is love and light
cognised directly by eye of soul
we let not this dream life impact us
as we cheerfully fulfil our ordained role

At first...
Cheerfully shared for liquid celebrations
For all of the right reasons.
And then...
Abruptly emptied to become a whine bottle
For all of the wrong reasons.
Once he ran, a younger man, now he hobbles
Once he walked, cheerfully talked, now he wobbles
Once he laughed, a breezy updraft, now he cries
Once he hoped, with the future eloped, now he sighs
Once he looked forward
~ Now he looks toward
The day when he can die
