Cardinals

I saw the cardinals today
Clad in ceremonial crimson red
Tiara tufts above their heads.

Silken sheen on satin capes,
Looking down from lofty perch
Of nest in apse of nearby church....

Truth Whisper
Sinking alone in deep despair
I hear to truth whisper
Where Impermanence of beings
Is ignored as ever a bliss
And truth buried ceremonial
To invite happiness immoral
Such falsity of worldly affair
Can one ever be altruistic?

British Ceremonial Guard
She guards her heart with more than fine steel,
And combination of sorts.
To break the face of a stern-faced guard
Is almost considered a sport.
To see a rock wall shed a tear,
As impossible as it may be.
Emotion hits the hardest with words
And it waves the hardest in seas....

An Initiative Lurk
When you fail to entertain ask someone for voluntary work.
to learn about boring, to apply a healthy jerk,
Don't hurt anybody, build climax, wisely and warmly,
Patience can promote you when you have an initiative lurk,
Believe me, you shall seek an appointment for ceremonial Kirk....

Always in black, Fr. McShane
raises cathedral hands and intones,
‘our brother is finally home.’

Absolved of the fight to contain
a lifetime of tears
in this ceremonial splendor

I just have to wonder.

His Nikes are ‘home’
in the walk-in closet,
aren’t they?

Stonehenge
Eerie beauty and mystery
Permeate gray stones
Forming a temple,
An observatory, a timepiece
For Britain's earliest arrivals
Who left ancestors buried
In pagan mounds awaiting
The Anglican God.
By moonlight the Druids,
Wandering the grounds
Once their domain,
Performed ceremonial rites
Not revealed by the ages....

Unsung Hands
How can you unsee an etched wound ?
The name will tell the moon.
An empty sky now calls for
the rains.

What was it-
the ceremonial farewell ?
A dependable pain now starts
pulling out the sharpnels from the body.

You may call it
meaningless. My poem now
moves between the stings. Somebody
was going for a merciless kill.

The Wind
The February full moon stirred
A wintery blustering
Wind that roared through the neighborhood
Like an out-of-control freight train.
The stark, naked trees swayed wildly
In a ceremonial dance
While low-growing tree branches touched
Intermittently the ground
In swift, servile genuflections.
Then for an abbreviated
Lull, an eerie silence prevailed
Within this moonlit quietude
Until the winds bellowing voice
Was heard echoing its return....

Women Know Which Men To Marry
Women know which men to marry
And Normal Woman won’t tarry;
To keep praising her Sir Barry
But it’s going to be Larry,
Barry to keep giving her Garri
To keep enjoying it Larry…

And she’d keep flirting with Harry,
Who her great burdens does carry;
Ceremonial thanks to Zorro
Who in her behalf would borrow,
Promising creditors morrow
But bed-time sleeping in sorrow…

Poor Zorro who does hard soils harrow
And watch over sows that farrow....

(Gentle Summer Rain)

Listen to:
light pouring silver gray
enriched thoughts fall from the sky
complete path towards-
Blissful, Delighting Peace
small ceremonial rain dance.
------------

Gentle therapeutic rain
on a warm summer day.
falls of heaven on my skin
lovely healing memory
smiling tears
embracing promise land
means of escaping
utopia in a cloud
Solace-
light mist paints the Earth

"Drizzling summer rays."
Swimming in sunshine, rain.

When the Earth Was Young
Smouldering charcoal smoke drifting
Heady mead distilled from honey...
Whethered white skin tropical sea
Gleaming sun path on the water
Rising up out of the ancient ocean
Bronze sheild glinting in the light
Celtic metalwork deep in the earth
A hundred million years ago under
the sea was the great sacred stone
Ceremonial patterns of swirling line
Druids little hamlet thatched roofs
were bathed in the suns reddish light.
Freshly baked bread crickets at night....
