Nature Abhors a Vacuum
The black hole took a bite of stars,
he dreamed a candy store.
He ate a hundred billion stars,
and still he wanted more.

When he had finished everything,
the universe was bare.
He put some stars back out in space,
to have an ‘over there’....

Premium Member Blowpop Man
I have a unusual sane place I like to go
Behind my ever last
Bubble gum
Blowing
Take a hold of my hand
Let it be in the care of the Indian man
Sell the chief at the candy store
Let em run free
Ya
Let my Indian chief go
It’s what I came here for

Ya
Ya
My blowpop man...

Candy Store
Here I stand
 Nose against the glass
I have no money
 Cannot buy
Only can look
 Not welcome inside
Oh how I long
 Day after day
Dreaming of if
 I only could
Go inside
 Take what I would
Be made welcome
 Met with a smile
But I have not
 I am not
Stand and look
 Day after day...

Premium Member Wrong Shambala Lyrics
Give away your socks
Give away your Victory nickel
To the folks of Shambala.
Give away three kittens
At the candy store
In downtown Shambala.

Eat at Larry's Clambake
By the coffee shed
On the road to Shambala.
Climb a monkey tree
Steal a bluebird's eggs
In the woods of Shambala....

Open the Door To a Candy Store
Would you like to have a lollipop? You get to choose from the cream of the crop. We have many different kinds of flavors galore. There are your favorites and many more. Kids are not the only ones who think they are swell. Lollipops are a sweet eat for adults as well. Inspired by another member's poem.

I Am Bored With Math
I am bored with math.
Two plus two always equals four.
Why can't it equal an ice cream cone
Or a trip to the candy store?

Four plus four always equals eight-
Never a video game,
Or a Disneyland vacation.
No, the answer's e'er the same!

One times one always equals one.
Where's the fun in that?
I'd love to see the answer be
A brand new baseball bat!

Rainy Day Reflection
A new river
   rolls by prodded by
visionaries
Do you see them walking by
while the rainbow taught us to walk?
You
shouldn't
care
what your enemies - or even your friends think
Get over it! and keep on creating
It will keep you alive!
A famous poet I know of
ran a candy store for years
while writing ode, after ode, after ode
He is a good example for us all!...

Candy

The box... is full of chocolates,
a delight to the senses
unleashed by taste buds
in our mouth.
We think about the first bite,
we dwell upon the last.
But...
It is the middle
that leaves us...
in ecstasy.

Don't be in hurry.
Enjoy every piece.
There are only so many,
and they taste far better when shared,
if you can master the desire
to eat them all...
alone....

Choices
I drive by with the wind in my hair
I slow just enought to see you standing their
Only once do I look to know where I am
I've never been there before
I'm not sure what to do next
I feel like a kid in a candy store
Your everywhere and I can't choose
It's the words I must say
The actions I must choose
They all come from the heart
No matter how they come out
No matter how they look
It's all for you...

Nonsense Words
Nonsense Words
Nonsense Words
Image is everything

I like words as pictures to be seen.
Into and inon one works one is non.
Asto and beto are not real words.
Into and toto one is one is not.
Homet rhymes with comet,
but comet is a thing.
Homet quite probably is not.
Life is not your candy store.
I certainly am not.
Look carefully where you step.

Premium Member What Must I Do
I'm stuck in a land called "process".
Trying to get the creative juices flowin,
But I got nothing, then all of sudden
letters started appearing out of
nowhere.
I was so excited, I was like a kid in
a candy store.
It was like a huge puzzle that I had
to put together.
What must I do? I want to choose
amazing letters that will wow you.
Letters that will uplift you!
But I remain stuck in this land called
process.
I want to get those creative juices flowin.
