Waiting with baited breath

Chasing this morning glory...

candy apple lips
thick and wet
imperceptible saliva dripping off the side
in subtle ways
moist and Rubenesque
I cannot tear my eyes away
wondering how she looks this luscious?...

Candy Apple Red Throat
Candy apple red throat
Coughing is a challenge
And breathing is out of the question
If you could scream
I would soothe you
But your inability to enunciate
Will lead you to your loss of life...

Premium Member Apple Harvest Red
Blest harvest time's here
orchard trees, covered in red
Candy apple sun
A cool wind goes by briskly
and soon stars are in my eyes

Wild fruit, ripe and sweet
falls in shadows of summer
crisp, shiny and rich
and when the sun sets so red
traces of the hue linger...

Tiny Tiny Feet
Tiny tiny feet
Bound by a millennium and
1966
Swirling in candy-apple red flags fettered, unfurled
Gilded stars glittering in their midst.
How many celestial moons will pass until
Mr. Mao comes down to break up the
Combo and pronounce,
“God is alive, really kicking and has a
Grey grey beard”?...

Premium Member Block Party
Dance, Ladies, dance!—
By the light of lanterns.
Let your red skirts swirl
Like the tops of carousels—
Candy-apple red.

Dance, Children, dance!
With your glowing adornments—
Rainbow blue and green—
Firefly green.

The scent of gardenias
Wafts from urban gardens—
Gardenias and radishes.
The night air breathes magic;
The block has been transformed....

Slowly melt some Caramel
over a low flame
dip a Granny Smith apple
set it on a plate
let the apple cool
open mouth

Bessie
My comrade -
was
a candy apple red steed.

I would admire
the way the sun
would catch and sparkle
across her bars,
marvel over
the grand Ferris wheel
in proportion
to her two small children.

Some days
we would don
the sound
of my sea foam flip flops,
galloping,
I would let
the rough cement
guide us
as
I rode
on,
a mad train west....

Chimera
barkers hawk
shifting paradigms
change is good
and I've got a pocket full
drop a token
in the slot
and get
all the advice
any clown
made of nuts and bolts
can offer
a calliope jangles
the unsaid
a cacophony of slights
left with a sickly slick
(candy apple on a stick)
swirl and whirl
gone crazy
just another ride
just another chance
at the desperation
and acceptance
of the soul carnival...

A Ribboned Scented Night
Heaven's graceful arm Unveils destiny's charm. Cradled in white billows Dusk rolls in on wispy pillows. A sunset of candy apple red Melts into clusters of grape beds. A lemon lime hue of reflection Closes the day in perfection. Night flowers perfume the air Romance is allowed to share. Visuals stimulate and stir Hypnotizing scents procure. Candy Apple
Candy apple dreams crushed
a one shot arrow turns you blue
what comes around will come around
 dirty lies tied to delight
a pretty girl all high just getting by
stuck in a hurricane this storm is gonna strike
along the edge of this city you play

A crying heart bleeding under a moonlight of lust
love is a devil's wish, full of tradgedy
mixed up all over you there's no beyond
you take your fate at the devil's gate.....

Candlelight Mystery
candlelight mystery
looking out the window
blockaded by friendship
but thankful for the same
wanting to get on the other car of the train
yet being choked by the fear of past present pain
lavender aromatherapy conversation
apple cinnamon delight
pumpkin spice ambiance
clear waters constantly flowing
winter candy apple amusement
sensual amber effervescence
though the mystery of us may never be solved,
the candles of our unique friendship and bond will infinitely burn...
