Remember ; Mountain :
When Paiute canoes paddled :
Bygone many years
Inspired by Raul's Contest " Morning Ambience "
Between my smile and my cry
The awful time and the shred wind
Will bygone.
To another place
Tying to root it up
Once again!
on a leaf, sailing
smoothly to bygone phrases
laced with time I bow
to unknown spirits, watching
trees dance in orphic autumn
come
to a bygone
place,
the other side
of
reason,
an age
of innocence
of sweet secrets..
hidden now
in
memory
Whispers of pine, aged,
Carved by hands of bygone days.
Strings hum with life's breath,
Each note a story, tender—
Echoes of eternity.

hs abab style is worth a look
'The Soldier' ,England of a bygone time
but 'Chilterns' for me nostalgia in rime
Grandmother's linen
Brief look into bygone day
Antique memories
Soft monogrammed sheets with lace
Carefully laundered.
You cannot hold Winter
Children weep for acorns
and their plummets of blackcurrants
They have lost their Midas Touch
Urban foraging is bygone pride
His glittering brain~
So full of the gems of age~
Hands withered from repetition ~
As eyes tarnish in bleary rooms~
He writes ever silent of a bygone youth.
Bygone years grow dim
sifted memories remain
longed-for yesterdays.
But time soon comes when tired hearts
hope only for tomorrow.
Oh, children of the future
Do tread a different pace
Than their parents back in times bygone
So ignorant of life's race;
Now the boy becomes a man
And a woman takes her place
My heart feels heavy tonight
Old photos and memories
A steadfast emotional anchor
Yearning bygone days
Achingly longing for the lost
My soul sorrowfully hankers
Long days
six 'til seven
of sunfilled bygone days,
evocative evermore to treasure,
yet so
outre,
larger than life,
peculiar,precious-
a nostalgic ghost to haunt
old age.
My bum is spreading I noticed today
From sitting and contemplating bygone days
Sedate I've become
To old age I've succumbed
No more sit ups, I don't even shave
Souls bygone searching, shouting, soaring, sizing, somewhere other than heaven and hell ~

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©
Mom, Dad, sit with me
Talk about the bygone days
When your love was new
How have you stayed so in love
I want to understand
You must know the love secret
Oh, please pass it on to me
My bum is spreading I noticed today
From sitting and contemplating bygone days
Sedate I've become
To old age I've succumbed
No more jogging or sit ups, I don't even shave
Cry not bitterly for
bygone longing years.
Nigh as thoughts may be,
try to wipe away tears.
Shy away from asking
why, if an honest
reply will make you
cry without rest.

My hosts are heavenly
Diamonds in the sky
Celebrants shine, revealed
Tuxes, tails, bow-ties
Dainty hors doeuvres
Sparkling champagne
Palatial glows the galaxy
Bows to bygone royalty
a
novel
loiters
then
refines
becomes
precise
in
outline
so
delicate
yet sharp
in the
retentative
ether
of
bygone
hours
My mind is trapped within this maze,
forced to ponder bygone days,
wasting time on what is lost,
reliving paths long since crossed,
deep remorse for choices made,
guilt becomes a lethal blade.

God sees evil people dining on,
their vile imagination’s cooking.
Knowing all events to be bygone,
and thinking that God isn’t looking.

There are two visions
The irresponsible bygone
And the impending
Together they disappoint…big
As we just live in the now.

Violent young men
Use the religion of Islam
To commit misdeed
sweeping along the crowded wisps
of bygone alleys and trodden pasts
gentle whispers of memories breeze by
teasing today's persistent travails
to rest, urging the now to flee
and into a cocooned closet to lie

Redolence entwines
on reminiscence.
Nostalgic memory
of bygone golden days.
