Notes About The Poem

In response to new, more enlightened knowledge and circumstances, we must be open to change, lest our reason d’être loses all value.  Change and shine or stagnate and rust.   C’est la vie = Idiom meaning such is life   Let us praise No Kings or Queens Day & our LOVE for America!

Such Is Life

change is not stubborn
as is a long-shriveled hand~
c’est la vie bygone

You know what they say Joe blow, opposites attract . We vote to change everything back, help people, the American way. We have something in common my friend, Jesus the Prince of Peace & Jesus the Warrior --who would Jesus waterboard? Something to ponder upon~ I am well, hope you are too

Anaya, nice to celebrate the ability to change. Perhaps we have more control over our future than some would allow. Great use of French again. I didn't realize you knew French that well. In any case, more than one language also opens us up to different points of view. Smiles!!

Duke, I must say, although I'm a francophile I'm not lucky in French, although I am bilingual Spanish is not as beautiful a language but y e s I view things perhaps just slightly different. El que no arriesga, no gana – He who doesn’t risk doesn’t gain anything. Asta mañana poeta, buenos noches~

Dear Anaya, I think your haiku is a blade, sharp, elegant, restrained, and deeply cutting, brief, but it reverberates. Just like moss growing over old stone, quiet, persistent, alive. With admiration, Autumn Blessings, Dear Anaya, Daniel

Daniel a relishing review, & metaphor used, we mustn't wither away ourselves, stay young at heart! I curtsy with delight.

There are some amongst us who may have a hand in stunting others growth of poetry by keeping change from flourishing & mudslinging poetry here. Hence letting bygones be bygones shan't take place. Bernie Sanders is the epitome of youthful thinking, he is 83 years old and JD Vance at 40 has a mind stale & old. You are right! <3

Your words have an urgency. Never be silenced. Regarding no kings day, patriotism involves change. Change gave us independence and civil rights. Power to who? We, the people! Let fear take a back seat to noble deeds.

The President has attacked Democrats on this day as terrorists & criminals, funny, all I saw today were workers, families, & young folks standing up for their right to protest against an authoritarian leadership, Americans together for their love of America! Regarding bygones: As for those who cannot stand change or are just too long in the tooth to make an effort to move forward, theirs is a choice that shall not stunt my growth! Ty for your sweet words, visiting soon~ October blessings
