Turkey ready for roasting
Our mom ready for boasting
A power surge came
The oven in flame
No Thanksgiving for toasting
Can
time
assuage
broken hearts-
and ignite
passion
once
more
or
will
despair
overwhelm
forever,
stifling-
love's
flame
Burnt to a Crisp
Red-hot sunbathers sleeping through sun rays.

Poetic form: Monoku
I think about you and the way you had carved my soul with pain when i would feel that I'm on the verge of giving up on myself to let go the pain
Mind has been burnt in love,
the branches of shimul* tree covered with flowers;
I sense the advent of spring that had appeared
in the age of ice.
Extending East our line is held
Component men subsumed by steel
As individuals we meld
And standing thus preserve the real
Tall men spit messianic prose
To disciples pawning choice
Their knowledge like a cancer grows
A doppelgänger's endless voice
There once was a gifted child,
Through all their lifetime they smiled,
But a bump in the night,
Came as a fright,
And now they are all but wild.
Words can sting
Like a sunburn that never fades.
You were the sun,
And like Icarus
I flew too close.
My wings
Burned,
and I fell to the Earth.

Bakes cakes and breads
Took a nap, burnt them

A brine-eyed dog struts through my yard
Snuffling the pavement cracks
Its partner circles under guard
Behind its owners' absent backs
breast suckled not barren deserted
breath not shared lungs bloated
beasts severed a lot skin pierced
bread not served shaken bruised
burnt hunger of love cried
Form:
His girl likes beaches and the sun
As a big part of summer’s fun.
Lovely with her golden tan
He’s her most adoring fan.
She‘s lightly toasted, he’s well done.
thievery is sin, how dare you snaffle mine... scorched by the fire 'neath

Pigeons fly our hearts cry with the song
but peace seems to be always a wrong
addiction to wars
by the great powers
is the chant that burnt us all along.
(08.01.2022)
I enjoy the burn of the lighter's flame pushed by the wind.
I enjoyed the burn of the one who had made me smitten again.
I enjoyed it while it lasted, just like a cigarette.
current girlfriend problems
the dead one is far better
than the live one
if it were'nt for lying lips
i think i could do better
but one of those lies
just happen to be
i love you
Form:
Shed a tear in empathy,
but not in sorrow.
Be contemplative
though there be mourning.
Let them be dead;
they are at peace.
You can still hope
for new miracles.
Scratching scraping bleeding panes...
Broken walls; marching through the halls
"In progress." *
In the morning
the thing I dislike most
is the nasty smell
of burning toast
the stink of it
gives me a fit
a lousy way
to start the day
please pop that toast
before it burns
you know the stench
makes me squirm
Like burnt-out logs on ice-cold firedogs nudge,
emotions crumble at tentative touch.
In Iambic Pentameter: Stressed syllables are in bold.
Who snuffed out my writing spark?
It used to burn so bright,
Now notebooks, lay forgotten
All, tucked out of sight.
Where did the emotion go?
My urgent need to vent,
Now, when I crawl in bed at night
My mind is simply spent.
magenta magic
recently escaped eve's skies
darkening to plum
crows caw on the wing
as pink sun turns red-orange
day goes up in flames
mango berry crush
mahogany shadows move
gold clocks go tick tock
Sincere I forget, distrust I hurt
a grudge of distraction. Mere I
tend to resent, lust observe
must it happen. Insist despair
I exist, such blood nerves
in scratches. Dare I admit
I’m scared, in dust &
Love Burnt Ashes.
Torn date
From the unpriced son to his father:
So a child. Now a man.
"You never knew with
what fanatical veneration
I listened to your every word".
For you were for me the measure of all things.
(the rest of the letter burnt).
