Chant That Burnt Us

Pigeons fly our hearts cry with the song
but peace seems to be always a wrong
addiction to wars
by the great powers
is the chant that burnt us all along.

Doves of peace fly with their song. But we hear louder the sound of bugles announcing battle ! More than the pandemic, man made rebellions and miseries are our curse. A limerick with some serious thought to ponder over....
