Barren
Bungalow shrouded by sorrow
Ancillary space time doth borrow
Recycled dreams in dark basement furrow
Residual memories in corroded hope chest burrow
Embezzled ambitions in fallow vault sallow
Naked soul in hollowed-out walls doth wallow...

Home Sweet Home (True)
We've just moved into a bungalow
It's been a stressful time
The area is so peaceful
And the neighbours are just fine.

We live on the edge of a beautiful meadow
So wonderful is the scene
We thank the Lord for giving us
The answer to our dream....

Our Bungalow
We thank God for our bungalow
And its gorgeous views
We thank Him for this peaceful place
He knew which one to choose.

We thank Him for our needs He's met
While living in this place
And all the joy He gives us both
We thank him for His grace....

Island Home
I have a mermaid soul
silently an eloquent dreamer
bathing in summer water
cultivating the spirit of island songs
while feeling comfortable
on the inside of my blue bungalow
enticed by the glorious ocean treasure
and scents of hibiscus like coconut macaroons...

They Are Among Us
Day by day they evolve and grow,
Each one like a parasite they take;
They say good morning, also hello.

Day by day they evolve and grow,
Living in a flat or a bungalow;
A new planet species called fake.

Day by day they evolve and grow,
Each one like a parasite they take;...

Demure young maiden
A bucolic bungalow
A fallen hero

Situation hot
Gray thick diaphanous smog
Cannot cool it

Desultory dance
A quick surreptitious
Fine country wedding

Grandma’s tailsmen
The bride adorned with daisies
Murmurous rumors

A nonchalant groom
A sempiternal set up
Quintessential joy...

Coal Bins
Chicago, the South Side,
	    long before Barack Obama

those I'd love see live
anywhere they like
are those so black
they up long planks
in the heat of summer
wheelbarrow coal
so bright it pours
in a silver seiche
down chutes
through windows
of bungalow basements
crashing in coal bins
of new masters

Snowglobe
A runaway world,
The herald of mystic lands,
Sheltered behind glass,

Promise Land setting,
Destination directions,
Hidden underneath,

A sole bungalow,
Coconut laden palm trees,
And fish aplenty,

Whitest of beaches,
The sun dances off the shore's,
Microscopic pearls,

My future escape,
For now it's temporary,
In my own snowglobe....

Premium Member There It Sat
It was a gorgeous house
Dated in its style
A stone-walled bungalow
Quiet sitting up on a hill

I’d never seen a sign of life
And the stories lurked about
Owned by an old photographer
Whose son had hung himself

A house that seemed abandoned
Where everyone had left their soul
In some form passed away and died
Leaving just the ghosts to roam

Bungalow Couple Redux
Bungalow Couple Redux

They weren’t talking at all, back then.
Deep in that house, they were conceiving their dwarfs,
not talking at all, back then.

And they’re not talking at all, right now.
Still in that house, they rearing their dwarfs,
not talking at all, right now.

And they won’t be talking again.
When the dwarfs break out they’ll stay in that house,
not moving, not talking again.

Lily Swarn, (The Reuel Prize Winner fairy poetess; The Punjabi woman who has a beautiful habit of rising earlier than birds),
Will you 'company me
To The Khalsa High School, Ludhiana,
Today--next year ?
I just wanna sing in the auditorium, 'Dil mai kisi ke pyar ka jalta huwa diya'!

And don't you grow curious!
Do Pritam's shadows still haunt the bungalow 'Parchaayian'?...

Cows On a Roof
Walking halfway up a paths incline
I look back at my bungalow
there is a cow on my roof
(an optical illusion)
for the roof is overlooked
by a green hill,
and on that green hill
black and white cows graze.

The wind-swept Bermuda shorts
on the back washing-line
are also trying to jump onto the roof,
but being still hungover from the night before
they will never make it.
The black and white cows
consider the flapping shorts soberly....

Premium Member Getting Fit When I Need To Sit
I am conscious of my flabby thighs and know I need to do more exercise Thankfully my weak bladder's helping me - I get up three times each night to pee! I climb up and down two flights of stairs and now manage these steep steps in pairs Perhaps at night less tea I need to sup But it sure is helping my thighs to firm up Of course its fictional poem you know - because our house is just a bungalow! 1/23/20

Water Falls To Tranquility
Water Falls To Tranquility

Kisses sweet
Imbued with shy blushes
Bungalow soft, dalliance of lust

Tumble down
In white water, naked
Covers nature’s angels and soft nymphs

Sins wash clean
Water falls in deep sleep
Lovers held on silent rocky mist

Cozy love
Drifts quietly over
Falls on waters of tranquility

Any Shape You Take, My Muse
Comely muse, take your shape-- Demure and dulcet, be my escape; Hold tight your evocative position Flawless art craves your rendition; Your fetching pose a mystery to all An ingenue over slaves in a thrall; Who you are is of certain paragon Your elixir eyes bring only halcyon; Remain aloft forever in bungalow I will tame the flames held below; Your silent eloquence fills my view Lissome and lithe, I'd die for you; February 23, 2016
