Too many kabobs
to skewer
plus bone-dry ribs.

Me? I’ll stay
with pink lemonade

and watch
       the turbid sky
and watch
       the stars reload

And so study
serious stockades a

Trees were rushing past
bent against the wind
roots literally screaming for water
parched, bone dry and barren
she endured the test
40 days of hot wind
this vision bent
on revealing
what is to come
for now
we are blind....

From God’s Palette Miracle Man 1/6/2022 Evening sun escapes from an overcast sky, that provides a ceiling over huge round bales. Summer's searing heat has rendered ground bone-dry, a multicolored sky sparing no details.

Coming Soon
The sun is shining on High
Whilst every throat is bone-dry
Though water is sought
There's none to be bought
Our eyes are too dry to cry

resources will be spent this summer
extinguishing wildfires...

Thinking In Circles
I walk quickly in circles without hurry
Thinking in panic without thought or worry
As rain hammers down from clear blue skies
Soaking me to the skin; leaving me bone dry
I cross a road without progressing
Whilst rushing slowly to keep from digressing...

Through Strawberry Fields
Through strawberry fields,
Path back to school, noon day sun,
Bike push slow,heat haze.

Through strawberry fields,
Pass pickers toliling near soil,
Jam nose up nose.

Through strawberry fields,
Solar wave break on hot back,
Bone dry soaked to skin....

Giant Things
We are the withdrawal
on a dappled day
White Vultures Swarm
bone dry is the day,
Now our lives are hasten
We are cheek by Jowl
Giant lies interlude
Secret tunes of cabbages and Kings
burgled routes to strawn away
In the last peek of love
A giant hope glistens to espy...

Painfuly Yours
Don’t misunderstand me,
You just try to deny.
This I could never see,
You left my heart bone dry.
This pain is so unreal,
I am just rotting away.
This is not what’s ideal.
Life’s now in a delay.
Realize this is fake.
Nothing, I was left here.
You are the black rat snake.
Why did I shed, those tears?...

Scoobie found a ruby in Devonshire
And he put his frying pan on the fire
                                                 Ruby began to cry

My Quiet Time By: Miracle Man 2;10 am 3/5/2021 As an early riser, I feel the breeze that whispers through dry grass, and I’m surrounded by God’s peace. Still none the wiser, the world around me wakes and what I hear, in mass, are wagon wheels, bone-dry of grease. “In quiet places reason abounds.” Adali Stevenson

Excussssssssse Me Part2
No excuses... I plead
To beg of a right
Now that I have paid
For it with my life

Give me a seconds chance
To explain in detail
The reason in existence
For my stance

ExcusSSSe Me! I'm just
Torn apart inside
The world I found out,
Is a bloodsucker in the night

And I am its victim
Being sucked bone dry
And drained down the alley
Left to die...

Premium Member Not tonight
Half expected inspiration to fill the air
while I endeavoured to write a poem.
A curse responding much like a veil
reigns over the moonless night while
out my window no stars come into view
and the silence feels perceptively eerie

The Real Thing
Who done it? Where did you go?
Why do you want to injure me so bad
How cannot I not live without the cold, refreshing, caffeine
drizzling down my bone dry throat, making my body roar
with pleasure and shake with pure delight. Who took the last can?
Oh, I found you. Now my tongue can tingle with my head hanging back
as the gratifying Coke proves, Its the real thing...

The high diver climbed the ladder over 100 feet high

Plummeting to the bottom quickly he plunged
into what was supposed to be a slightly dampened sponge.
Upon impact the high diver instantly died
because his girlfriend's jealous husband rung the sponge out bone dry.
The husband has been charged with homicide....
