Blue Jay Rejection

blue jay’s blundering
Keeps the birds stirred up today
Blue jay rejection
Heart feels his loneliness
A social outcast myself

Two Feet In the Air

the two footed tackle
we would deem most likely to raise authority’s hackle
so better the elbow
to the back of the head like a blundering backhoe.

Birdcage

Forced me into the birdcage
nervous while plundering
The lash around my neck
result of blundering
Awakened my wrath
vigorous equally thundering
Lost in panic,
facade of a dervish wondering.

Blundering Thunder

The Speaker of the House bowed in wonder...

"How will we escape this cloud we're under?"

"We'll have to excuse the "Loud One's" blunder."

"It's way too late now, the crowd's asunder!"

Wondering Dervish

Forced me into the birdcage, nervous while plundering
The lash around my neck, result of blundering
Awakened my wrath, vigorous equally thundering
Misplaced under the tent, pretense of a dervish wondering.

Kantorovitch

I see the
mathematics in her,
the whole family of scholars,
dispassionate judgements,
their genius
and their madness.
I see the Schaeffer
eagerness in me, a
dynasty of tail waggers,
trying to please,
blundering.

Rise and Fall

Rise
                          High, Tall
          Ascending, Emerging, Elevating
   Climb, Escalation, Increase, Acceleration
       Stumbling, Descending, Blundering
                        Low, Woeful

Thunder Rolls

32
Thunder
Rolls
And
So do I
Rolling
A cigarette
In this life
Of wonder
Lightning
And my endless blundering
That simply has to end sometime
Very, very soon

Spluttering, Muttering and Stuttering

Spluttering, Muttering and Stuttering

Mandruka was always a spluttering
Wife was always talking and muttering
Then came Frank who was always fluttering
Golly, Molly was always stuttering
Mandruka’s wife yelled stop that blundering.

Here's a Quickie

Blundering into Sunday and wondering
why so early?

And yet life is ablaze with the
light of these days
so I rise.

There's sleep in my eyes
I should have left that in bed
but I never,
washing my face instead does the trick.

Picking out socks thinking how
my life rocks,
if Mother could see me now.

Her Love

She is as beautiful as sky's unwilling to rain,

on 69 degree days,

up high where I have talked all the way down my walk so plain-

so whatever you heard of her blundering fame,
you must shout now how you'd love to die of shame!

Shame in names after the places you gamed-

toying with the very walls frame.

Fools and Kings

fools
                misguided, gullible
        blundering, stultifying, erring
dunderheads, imbeciles, rajas, emperors
     reigning, succeeding, conquering
                 powerful, mighty
                         kings

The Annointed Breath

Blow gently upon a dandelion puff, a hundred seedbearing spores will parachute into the air to consecrate the earth. The wind does this, but the wind is blind, blundering animals may disperse them also, yet on a breezeless day you are the miracle, for only you impart direction and purpose. "Have I not said that ye are Gods?"

French

You left us a sound recording of the pronunciation
but I'm guessing my ien from yang
with no written list to escrow
I'm blundering trying to shoulder this word game
and my reve of speakeasy fades
like Icarus without wings
I'm left floundering
on the mais we
You've jettisoned espere again
and I'm still guessing at my letters
I need a dentist to perfect my rolling R

Nothing To Speak Of

Thundering downstairs, my sister charged me with theft;
wondering, Dad questioned the source of her inquiry.
Blundering like a buffoon, at last I confessed,
plundering her coffers, I had filched her diary.

Deft hands suddenly snatched the book in question.
Bereft of my fun, I pulled a downplay,
“Theft is taking and KEEPing something not yours.”
Left with nothing to speak of, I just stole away.

Thunder

Thunder

Nightly crashing thunder
Blundering through the streams of my sleep
Lifting me from the valley of my dreams
Plunderer of my sleeptime
Invader of my dreams
Destroyer of my nightly slumber

From behind the closed blinds of my eyelids
The lightning demands to be seen
The rain on my rooftop insists on being heard

This family of rowdy bullies, absorbing my
night into their play
I do wish they’d go away

Day 2

I’d almost forgotten

how you make the sun shine brighter

as you did yesterday

taking me back into your life

Where once I’d stomped my clumsy way

blundering on to blunder yet again

yes, while loving you,

but far less deserving than

I thought myself to be.

Despite your knowledge of my truths

you made a sounder, happier, more contented man

 than existed yesterday

before you forgave me.

Elf Bag's?

Before I begin my muse
Tell me how could you use
The love I always choose
Want me to blow my fuse?

Beauty from my hidden bag
My magic wand loves to tag
Dazes me to walk always lags
Let these humans..? what fags.

Hold still as I slide on your back
In smoothness as perfume track
Breezy, trusses skating as a sack
Blundering fools I hate to smack

Wonder a while you thieving packs
I am that great living elf don’t whack.

An Artist's Prayer

“An Artist's Prayer"
By Rachel Heffington

I've seen the Master Artist's brush
In deer so quiet, dusky-shy,
I've seen His charcoal pencil trace
A tree against the evening sky.
His watercolors have I glimpsed
In fragile petals of a rose.
A pastel masterpiece I view
Each time a day is at its close.
I've seen His sculpture in the way
The waves conform the rippling sand,
So Lord, please take this amatuer
And guide my ever-blundering hand!

I Apologize

I apologize from the bottom of my heart

It was not right of me to tear you apart

At least I should have ask you

Before I said adieu

I hope that you'll forgive me for my blundering attitude

I hope that you won't hate me because I was so rude

I believe you darling, please do not blame

Anyone else but me, I am so ashamed

My heart and my soul are intertwined with thee

If you don't forgive me, So Mote It Be

Every Fragment of Me Is Performing

Every fragment of me is performing
To mimic You,
To follow You,
I’ve been mumbling through masks,
But none of their expressions match Yours.
I’ve been stumbling on stilts,
But they don’t lengthen my pace enough to catch Yours.

Every fragment of me is performing
To reach You,
To find You,
I’ve been roaming across ropes,
But none of them tie me any tighter to You.
I’ve been blundering between bars,
But they don’t hold enough weight to help make my flight any lighter to You.

When Everything Came Crashing Down

A town blundering in fear,
the power in a single tear.
Families and friends left all alone,
all anyone could do was moan.
The servivors heard the sound,
of screams of those never to be found.
People piled in a mound,
silence was the only sound.
Why didnt we know?
which way the water was going to flow.
Maybe it will get better as time goes on,
but someones family members are just gone.
When the oceans waves came crashing down,
many people were forced to drown.

Too Much

You think too much.
Brain stains are left on your skin,
it is now mottled with thought.

From moment to moment
your mind is a tumbleweed,
then a blundering tank
rolling over boxes of kittens.
Silence is your kryptonite.

Your house is a jumble
of intellectual clutter,
open books flutter weakly
piled high on chairs and table.

Some admire your erudite astuteness,
but you wife considers you mad,

as she, in her own quite place,
meditates upon emptiness.

Our Daily Bread

I'm laying here wondering
why things aren't free
could it be society blundering
that could be the key

I do not condone
the behavior of ancient Rome
yet they had entertainment
that didn't require a payment

I'll stay on that subject
a particular aspect
it was offered to the Plebs
Patricians and Equestrians regardless of their threads

Something when awry with Adam Smith's stand
a result of a greedy clan
this stuff just went through my head
"Give us this day our daily bread"
