Blue Jay Rejection

blue jay’s blundering
Keeps the birds stirred up today
Blue jay rejection
Heart feels his loneliness
A social outcast myself

Blue Jays are so beautiful, but they drive me crazy here - every morning they make such a racket, and they eat songbird eggs and chicks. I feed them (peanuts - the squirrels, too) so they won't be as apt to kill the others. Really enjoyed this write, my friend! :-) <3

I have one blue jay. He waits patiently for cardinals, wrens, robins, and seven cardinals to eat. He sits on the next tree, waiting for the last turn. I feel he is their king.
