      clandestinely sated

  on this Mother's Day
Said a prayer for her memory
  on this sunny Sunday
Sat in the pew we all used to sit in
  saw some familiar faces of old friends
After the sermon was done
  mingled for a while for fun
Drove back home deep into the night
  leaving the white rose on mother's gravesite
