Momentous Nostalgia

Beyond a sweet zephyr
     whorled a scent,
something so familiar
   amidst that breeze,
'twas like warm apple pie
   sitting 'pon a windowsill
wafting delectable
   reminiscence of long ago,
children's laughter
   full of caramel & pepper,
petunias, summer rain
      and hot cayenne spice
all delightfully refreshing
in a blast of fragrant air's
momentously blissed nostalgia

I think you got the deluxe poetic license...I've only got a learner's permit;-) "whorled a scent" sweet!

Another flavored and scented amazing poetic offering. Caramel and pepper, now there's a wild combination. There is always something enticing about your work, makes one want to just linger here a while and absorb all of it slow and easy. Beautiful work.

Caramel and pepper, that's me in a nutshell and I do mean nut! :) Thanks so much Chris for your attentive reviews of my work.
