Darkness
bleak emptiness
blanketing the sunlight
suffocating the lively air
doomsday
2/3/2020
Misty ,hazy sky
Fiery horizon ablaze
Splendidly hued trees
Autumn blanketing all things
Luring them to winter sleep

Blanketing the world
Harboring the flowing clouds
Give birth to the rains
And hiding the blazing sun
The sky gives to all
Waving with the playful wind
California's golden grass
Blanketing the rolling hills
Hawk's shadow passing
Fog breathes on the limbs
blanketing all in silver
whispers of prayers
praising the moments of grace
soothing away despair’s song
Contagion of anxiety,
a blanketing wind
Deafening all
with the force of its emptiness
Reclaiming the silence
—in betrayals of fear
(Dreamsleep: July, 2021)
gray
are the
cloudy skies
in November
with the chilly winds
rain turns to snow
blanketing
the ground
white

Red velvet joy, delicious
thrill of the palate;
sweet cream cheesy coverlet;
scarlet colored bunk
cotton blanketing;
lustful bliss
art!
There is something mystical about a snowfall
Soft white drops of frozen tears
Blanketing a sleeping Earth with clean beauty
Covering all our sins,
All our errors
In winter’s winding cloth.
Divided in contrast,
Drifting into the sky...
Blanketing the horizon,
Before just passing by.
Fading into shadow,
And deafening the light...
So deep and mysterious,
Turning day into night.
The end layers over the beginning
in contours of time
Blanketing the middle
in consorts of connection
Rescuing the lost from themselves
—saving the foundling’s parade
(Dreamsleep: September, 2022)
Winter white falls from the trees
chases away the hunny bees,
Awakening senses, blanketing our plants,
heavy clouds begin to dance...
Winter white sends a frozen smile,
yet only for a little while....
The shadows cast down from above
Blanketing a dying memory.
Remembering the warmth of lost eyes;
The face a fading melody.
Lonely green cement hallways silent,
Yellow paint chipping from the walls.
footsteps shushed … silent
snowfall … earth's magic canvas...
blanketing the world

Quiet Filipina accent whispers to me
Under warmth blanketing the evening
Each word gently melodic in nature
Nurturing our love and dreams
Ember radiance illuminates us
Endless wonderment shared
.
frosted mustaches----
ICE blanketing miles of lake
drilling fishing holes
.
One by one rose petals fall
blanketing silken pink sheets
perfumed fragrance tantalize....
rosebush garden bare

Into silence,
that is where poets go to weep;
Volcanic fountain pen an act of defiance;
Emotions erupt blanketing the page
into silence;
Words fall like shattered glass
in the form of hearts and violence;
Feelings can finally creep
into silence.
Your brown eyes penetrate my skin
like healing sea mineral mud,
blanketing wide and deep within,
enough to purify my blood.
Pouring as an endorphic blush,
rising just like a sauna's heat,
within this purifying flush,
I'm given a renewed heartbeat.

On new-fallen snow
the night is fresh, clear, cold
clean, the air is serene.
A hush falls over the world
blanketing everything in silence
The stars, tis but diamonds scatter
vast velvet sky, deep past twilight
Twinkle, gleam, casting soft light upon the earth
I walk alone.
Blanketing the Earth
Cherry blossoms bloom,
Blanketing the earth,
With soft white petals
Mortality graced.
time ephemeral –
Leaves are scattered,
While voices sing
Beneath blue skies,
Until next year –
Ambiance
Embodied
Forever
Beauty
Beyond
Reason
Life!!

Frigid but calm front
hides in northern winds,
vast sky of my bedroom dims,
stream in winter
iced over, mother’s embrace
letting go at bedtime,
still rainfall,
sky’s dark pillows,
eyelids become anchors; smothers,
the cold front
blanketing dampened lids,
peacefully cover the coming storm.
Form:
Autumn saunters in
Silent as a new spring breeze
Stirring fallen leaves
Blanketing a cold worn earth
A year of greenery molted
Brisk wind dips treetops
Naked arms stretch fractious
Shivering in the chill
Creaking, groaning with cold ache
Arthritis here now till spring

snow and the blanketing midnight surrounds,
muffles the madness,
and snuffs out the sounds,
rising in billows
from wandering souls,
fluff up your pillows
and stare through the holes,
letting in moonlight,
like eyes of an owl,
asking Who
loves you,
beyond deaths'
dark cowl.
If ever a
Time
In a
Desolate
World
While
Moments
Gather
And dust
Subsides
Blanketing
This planet
Cumulus
Clouds
Converge
Colliding
And creating
Animal crackers
In air
Thus this
Time today
Awaiting
Tomorrow's
Love oh so..
Patiently
