As I observe another birth
I wonder why the nations rage
alas, I've reached that seasoned age
when all I want is peace on earth

Little, lonely, ninety-year-old Grandnan,
From her rusty, cold, garden caravan,
sent grandchild a birthday cake!
Wishing after her he will not take,
Be lonely like Grandnan in Caravan!

This birthday wish is just for you
Here is a wish that speaks true
Warm, happy hours for you and me
Towards tomorrow's brand new
Together with a promise sweet
To the beyond sky high
Many more to multiply

The Frog Prince Muse

For my birthday wish

I prayed for a kiss

From a frog Prince

My delightful muse

With his clever ruse

Made me wince

Because that foul fellow

Turned me yellow

When I instead smooched a fish!

Today's the day of your birth
The day your presence graced the earth
The day your smile blessed the world
But don't you ever let that light go out.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of a red, red, red rose Or someone having a dear to compose life spent wondering and gathering thoughts of precious moments that will last forever in the mind A birthday is a special time that we remember, and is sweet as the red, red, red rose.

Nanna

Today is your birthday & i did not know
i never grew up beside you,
i wish the past was different because today i would know
today is your birthday
but your no longer here

i will remember this date for every year on..

Premium Member A Birthday Wish For Will

On William Shakespeare's special day
I would this much like to pray

That future generations find a way
To fill a part of their school days
Midst the wonder of his plays

You'll not understand every word he wrote - OK
But a precious line or two make sure to file away
~ To revisit down the road, on a rainy day

A Birthday Wish

This is a special day,
That is sure to transcend.
So I just want to say,
You are a wonderful friend.
Everything you do,
Shows you are thoughtful and kind.
It is oh so true,
Friends like you are hard to find.
To help you celebrate,
I send this to you.
For today is your birth date,
And I have only the best of wishes for you.

She is an amazing poet and artist,
Her poems are lovely works of art.

She is so kind and very positive,
I'm happy she's a part of the Soup.

I'm sending you a virtual hug and,
a birthday wish on your special day.

Happy Birthday Eve, may you have
a great day, my soup friend.

Happy Birthday, Eve!

One Birthday Wish

C-oal clouds don't gather,
E-arly sun is burning bright;
C-old chill has disappeared,
E-vening dark turns into
L-ight.

G-leams fourteenth January
A-re glowing in the sky;
R-ays from the beacon create
C-olors in the lane up high.
I-t's a beautiful Saturday, Sunday shadows perish;
A-s you wake from sleep, receive my one birthday wish.

Morning Birthday Wish

M-orning birthday wish warms
Y-our life under the skyway;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
A-pril nineteenth Wednesday.

M-orning birthday wish
O-pens the dawn with thrill;
R-adiant rays brightly ascend,
A-fter the night cold chill.
L-onely twilight is gone,
E-vening shadows diminish;
S-unshine has just brightened my morning birthday wish.

My birthday wish for you is for all your dreams you dream to come true. May you never stop dreaming cause your dreams are very much a part of you. And with a birthday wish comes a dream of hope that within one of these dreams you find happiness to brighten your days in a very wonderful magical way. Edward J. Ebbs - August 21, 2002

Birthday Wish

Today, the day of your birth,
my gift for you is a hopeful wish.
While you're not here upon this earth
you're being loved and taking care.

For it would be what I would do,
if only I was holding you.
The wish I give is meant to be
your birthday gift, for you, not me.

But if I could be so bold
and asked you please to share,
this gift, my wish, really is,
a wish that you were here.

Birthday Loss

Happy Birthday to me
Without you being here
Just doesn’t sound right
Just doesn’t seem clear

How is it true
That Happy Birthday could be
Why would you think so
Without you here with me

It never was fancy
Elaborate or grand
But you made me feel special
With just a meal by your hand

Every year from now on
I can tell you what’s true
My one Birthday wish
Is one more Birthday with you

A Birthday Wish

I miss you more than words can say. I wish you were here today. The laughter and fun that
we shared. It can never compare. You were my rock, my dad, my friend and this is one of
the hardest times… knowing you’re so near and yet so far. I want you around to wish you
happy birthday and sing in off key tones. I think about you every day and hold you closely
otherwise I couldn’t make it through today.

Birthday Gift

You were one!
Then two!
And now you're three!
Bold and brilliant
Just like your mommy!

Another year of making us smile and laugh
We are cherishing the years as they pass

Since you, yourself are a gift
There is no need for another birthday wish!

Another year of my love you shall hold
Praying to God that you will live long and grow old
Happy birthday!
Here is another gift for you to unfold!

Birthday Wishes

Blessed to watch you grow
And prosper everyday
Getting taller
Getting stronger
Living longer

Becoming more independent
A bird flying without its mother's wings
You are a lifetime of goods things...
Is yet to come...

But first let's celebrate the 8 years you have lived
A fork clanking against a dish
As we sing another birthday wish!

- I love you & happy birthday to my little sister Chloe!

JUST CALLED TO SAY!!

The phone in hand, a simple thing to do,
No special date, no message bold and new.
Just felt the urge, a feeling deep inside,
No fancy words, no reason to hide.

I just called to say I love you, it's true,
This simple phrase, it bridges me to you.
No birthday wish, no holiday's embrace,
Just wanted warmth within this lonely space.

I just called to say how much I care,
A heartfelt truth that lingers in the air.
