Hope is beyond
Clouds control the sky
Rippled patches
White snow brings
Fallen

grey skies thick as stew
spew white muffler mounds
drowns all in deep somnolence
even a dogs distant bark
hangs crystalline on the air.

My Neighbours From the Flat Below

My neighbours from the flat below,
Hearing the sound from my apartment,
They think that my sex life is very ardent.
Alas! I simple jump on jumping rope.

Premium Member Bugs Below

What could be said
of the bugs below?
Can they feel this
weight from above?
Around they clamor
in a life of dirt.
Unaffected by that
heaviness of love.

Lily pad

There’s life here still
somewhere below the surface.
I dip under lily pads,
delve hands into reeds.
Down in the sludge, shimmering sunlight
illuminates what once thought lost.

Oh the Divine Yet Sinister Laughs From Below and Above

We drink your blood while we laugh at you in your drowning lungs we feast on your skin and flesh. We are hyenas that stand on two feet we serve leviathan melter of those that sleep.

Premium Member The Pain Below the Surface

I see him
relentlessly busy
running in every which direction
scattered to the winds
anything to evade
the constant chatter of his mind

Below the Horizon

S-un below the horizon
U-ses his apparent descent;
N-ow is the time to rest,
S-leep and set for a moment.
E-vening is about to bring slumber to the beacon;
T-o hide his brightness just below the horizon.

the cold
          dulls
subtle senses,
sterilises
            well-being:
unsettles
        the positive
induces
           futility
vanquishes
             desire-
and in silence
                     kills

No Hell Below

"It ain't no hell below; no devil
with a pitchfork, waiting to
ignite you into flames.  It's hell
right here on earth, It ain't no
hell below."

Premium Member Below the Horizon

The sun smiles a greeting at me
I meet his wan rays graciously
unblinded, unbowed
unblinking --
I hold the cards now
in December
the sun's played his hand --
Pale, absent fire
he slips
inconspicuously
below the horizon

The Sky Below

I stare at the cloudless ocean sky,

                     feeling like it's weirdly way down there,

                          and I'm stuck, stranded, strangely up here

                                 in my boat, I'm afloat in my sigh !

Well Below Low

Well Below Low

Not only did she seem really low,
Compared to that was well below;
To her an angel was sent;
Heaven is where she went,
Where so far away did quickly go.

Glistening Down Below

Up in the sky,
I see a light from down below.
Racing across the sky,
Until there was no place to go.
A drop of water flickers down my face,
I was thinking of you before this time and place.
Closing my eyes, I pray.
Hoping that I can move on with my day.

Throw and Stow Below

Throw and Stow Below

If it was something we should not know,
Best thing to do is always try and throw.

Below and you are sure to safely stow.

After hearing about intelligence being
compromised, makes me wonder how
they should have it handled.

Below the Maples

Last night a high wind
undressed the maple grove
it broke both twig and bough.

A flying carpet fell,
blood-tinted gold
spackled the woodland floor,
all in a heap and litter.

If you walk ankle-deep there
your shoes learn to speak
with the dying and the dead.

Below Starry Skies

Golden sun sets low and melds with blazing eyes,
warm bodies entwine, ignited by breathless replies.
Unspoken deeds, starry night comes to mesmerize
as passion’s kiss shoots forth stifling my soft cries.

Premium Member A Notch Below

None of them have been me ‘til now;
Not trying to come off highbrow;
I’ll let you find out and say ciao;
Have a pow wow, have a pow wow;

They will all feel like my shadow
as they sit putting on a show;
You’ll feel it as soon as you go;
A notch below, a notch below.
